Static News and Mapper Updates

Post by Killzig »

[ -> N/A]

The sexy beast Odin from No Mutants Allowed has put up a couple of interesting updates. Let's start with the first one in relation to Static: ... kquote>

Servers are back up online- we're setting up the redirects (tomorrow) and the forums will open once again. The move was tough, and has taken a long while to get everything unpacked.

As for Static itself, no updates. After some conversation with a few of the team members, it sounds like a "cap" to our focus on it might happen. Im not sure what we're doin from here. There are two publishers still looking at our work, but its doubtful anything will surface. Its a shame, but its also been a long time of winding down.
Doesn't sound promising at all.

On to some brighter news, Team X has updated their Fallout mapper. Listed changes:

Added button "Save As ..."

Fixing bug fith save into file (with selected objects)

Fixing bug fith adding new objects (with selected objects)

Adding new objects into map.

Drawing floor and roof tiles.

Deleting objects.

Change object properties.

Save modifications into map file.

Navigator Updated.
Sounds nifty, here's the file...Fallout 2 Mapper, 273KB. Thanks go out again to our friend Odin@NMA.

Is the link to version 0.96a or 0.96b? As Dims released .96b (and seemingly only notified the BIS boards...)

You should update the FO modding section(s) with the latest version too...
