it is new to me.
Just decided to re-play F1 after a long time... Picked up the dual-jewel (since I lent someone F1 years ago and never got it back). Not far into the game, did Shady Sands and then went back to Vault 13 for supplies before moving on.
I took the Mentats from the supply room to boost my INT enough to get the weapons from the Overseer, and then waited a day to talk to people. The Mentats had worn off and resulted in my INT dropping down to 3.
This makes for fun conversation. I was planning on asking people about the Water thief, but all I could say was "Gah", etc. So, I figured, maybe the doctor can fix me.
This is were the bug lies. All I can say to the doctor is "Lol?!" His reply is something like "Here, I found this lying around." He hands you a stimpak. I'm assuming you can do this forever... I stopped at around 175 stimpaks.
Just kind of funny finding bugs in a game after so, so long. Of course, someone else probably found this 7 years ago, but oh well... seems like news worth reporting to me.

So? The one married guy in the Blades will give you several stims if you helped them beat the Regulators. A lot quicker than one at a time..
Besides, not that you really need it... I usually have nearly 200 stims by the end of the game without using bugs. Than again, I am a pretty big packrat...

It's usually better to have to much. You can sell them for cash and then buy stats upgrades in BoS bunker. I didn't know about those bugs, i must try them out.Slave_Master wrote:Besides, not that you really need it... I usually have nearly 200 stims by the end of the game without using bugs. I like BIG guns...
If those damn merchants would only have more money(bottle caps) with them in the barter screen. You usually have to sell stuff for money+ammo/other wares because there isn't enough money to cover the value of sold goods. Which is kinda good for game balance reasons and it's more logical because money isn't of same importance in a post-apocalyptic world what it is today. 'Junk', on the other hand, is.Meths wrote:It's usually better to have to much. You can sell them for cash and then buy stats upgrades in BoS bunker. I think the storekeepers should have limited anmounts of money. But notice in Fallout if a store keeper has 1047 caps and you sell something and end the dialouge, he'll have 1047 caps the next time you speak with him.
