Red!Viewer 1.6.0.12 - Bug fixes mostly
This release is mostly simple bug fixes and just enhacements before jumping to the next step. I'm not sure what this next is just yet (possibly sprite editing)...

So well, this version fixes a quite annoying bug of the application crashing when switching to a fullscreen application (say Fallout or Fallout Tactics) whilst an animation is running in the viewer.
It also adds the same "reticle" to place the frames when editing tiles in the DirectX8 rendering mode, so you'll no longer have to swith to the software mode to edit them.
Finally, the DX rendering bounding box is properly coloured (as the software mode), and slightly transparant (like the preview shots of the MF editors on NMA). Actually it's slightly transparant in software mode too, but only for the horizontal lines, as I wasn't very interested in writing my own line algorithm...

Good, you're what I've been looking for for a bit , sadly this means your video card didn't initilize Direct3D. First, try to reinstall it/re-extract it, as this fixed the problem when Kreegle tried it, however I highly doubt this will change anything.RawonaM wrote:gives a message: "Run-Time error `91`: Object variable or with block variable not set."
Whats wrong : : :
Second, please post the video card you're using.
The problem is that I initilizae the video processing device (ie a Direct3DDevice8) and it fails, my program switches to software mode - however it seems that I still have some functions which use the device even while in the software mode, however since it works fine on my computer I couldn't test it.
I'll be looking into it, I think I know where the problem stems from.

There, all fixed, version 1.6.0.13, please update me about it! You should still get the dialog with the "error", but it should then continue.

Weird... I tested my viewer on that since I have one and had no problems... Guess I'll have to test it as a primary device as I used it on my secondary monitor and could move my viewer between the two screens without problems... Actually it kinda makes sense since the device was initiliazed on my primary monitor, so I guess the GF2mx render it and send it to the matrox somehow... I'll investigate further anyhow.
