Finding Power Armor...

I've heard that there are a number of suits of Power Armor that can be found instead of bought. So far I've only found the one in the military base, and in Navarro. Are there more?? And someone told me that there was one at the Ghost Farm... is this true?

There is a power armor in the brotherhood outpost in SF. One on the oil rig along with an APA Mk2, IIRC. But I'm pretty sure that there is not one at the ghost farm.

Ghost farm? I don't think so.
But I might be wrong.

As far as I know the only places are the Mariposa base, Navarro and the Enclave.

I don't remember a PA in SF, but I played the game really long time ago.

About two suits each at those stores that sell everything you could possibly want (read: a gauss rifle and power armor).

My power armor at SF post was directed to Slider, as he mentioned the BOS outpost.

From what I remember there is a Power Armor and a Brotherhood Armor in one of the lockers on the first floor of the BOS outpost.

Yes, you're right. There's also a pulse pistol and rifle. YK32B or some such, I think.

Either I am retarded or not very perceptive, but... there's PA in Mariposa? The only PA was the suit I found in Navarro, but I rushed through the game and didn't pay much attention to anything besides my main quest. And, in another game, just to let everyone know, THERE IS NO PA IN THE GHOST FARM.

There's 2 PA's you can find. One in the Military Base and the other through a quest in SF.

Navaro has an APA, and Enclave has an APAmk2.

The rest need to be bought and upgraded. Through the above mentioned quest which gives you the PA you can transform in into HPA for a grand total of 3 HPAs if you get the two upgrades first.

The PA in Mariposa is on the second level, in a locker, where most of the muties are at.
