Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) taking place May 22 - 24 at the Los
Angeles Convention Center. Interplay will be showing demonstrations of
Hunter: The Reckoning, Run Like Hell, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance and
Galleon. Black Isle Studios, the renown, role-playing game (RPG)
division of Interplay, will be showing (by appointment only) Icewind
Dale II, and an exciting, new RPG title to be announced in the coming weeks. Interplay's booth will be located in Concourse Hall, booth #5010.

OMFG could it be Fallout 3? Well, probably not. The chances of that are
around 100 / 1... place your bets. What about Fallout Fantasy, then?
I'd say the odds are closer to 10 to 1 there. Or maybe it's not a
Fallout game at all - 5 / 1 odds. Send all bets to Killian, but don't
expect any of your cash back.

Put me down for $5 each way with Killian. Or shall I just drink $15 worth of Guinness and cut out the middle man??Kreegle wrote: OMFG could it be Fallout 3? Well, probably not. I don't know...Kreegle wrote: OMFG could it be Fallout 3? Well, probably not.
The designers have been spending some time on the BIS forums lately w/things like MCA starting polls regarding FO issues like skills and stats.
I'm not holding my breath, but it just could be...

This is the times we need prayer on this forum:
"Dear good upon all that is holy, please give us sacred Fallout 3, I'll promise to go to church every sunday, please? Pretty please with sugar on the top?"

Hmmm...
My bet is on Star Trek. $5.00
1: it's IPs strongest license
2: Even marketers that work for IP know what Star Trek is
3: It will use the fallout engine and make me wish IP would hurry up and die.
4: It will suck like a hooker in a crackhouse.

I still think it will be Baldur's Fallout Dale Trek! A post apocolyptic fantasy set in the frozen wastes of Alaska where you can have a fighter mage looking for your crashed Runabout(tm) while fighting off Demons and Mutants! Find the Golden Pantaloons and you can finally have that uber Plasma rifle with mana rounds! WooHoo!!!

Word...
Word is that the "unannounced" PC RPG by bioware is none other than Star Wars: Knights of the Republic.
It was originally slated to be X-Box exclusive, but MS doesn't consider the PC to be a competing console. Since X-Box games are programmed in direct3d anyway...
That's the rumor anyhow.

Well..
Right now the very existance of Fallout Fantasy is a rumor. That makes it highly likely that no actual work could have been done on it yet, hence it won't be at E3...
Again, all conjecture!
