It's just been released for Windows, and I've still got the first two to play so far. I've played most other Spiderweb games, most notably Exile and how it's mostly a combination of Gold Box, Ultima 3-4, and a few others with both tactical and more. I've noticed that Geneforge has a strong tactical aspect, too. The Icewall area especially, which is damn hard with a pure melee character.

So far from what I've seen of Avernum 3, it's damn good.
