Improved encounter combat

Discuss the game that started it all, and its sequel. Technical questions and issues go into the Fallout Technical Support forum, not here.

If that was possible that would be great but.... Gameboys still aren't that advanced yet. Also nintendo wouldn't put out a game as adult as fallout.

Yes that is true but i never meant to imply that nintendo was the one who would develop the game but it would be made FOR nintendo. Well if they ever did do it it would be edited like crazy.

I can't imagine why it would be edited. Nintendo hasn't done that for some time. Hell, Die Hard: Vendetta is being released on the GCN complete with unedited swears in text and voice, and Sony was the only company that asked Acclaim to edit their copy of BMX XXX.

After all, it was on the N64 to which Conker's Bad Fur Day was released, and take a look at that game.

Well, cell phones support java and that shit nowadays so it isn't gonna take too long until we see more advanced graphics in them. You can play Doom on certain Palm pocketPC's, for example.

Yeah, those iPaqs are pretty cool. I know a guy who has one and it can do all sorts of cool stuff. I think there already is a version of Fallout for them. At the very least, it's being worked on.

What I'd really like to see is Fallout on a graphic calculator.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

I'd really like to see you program the SPECIAL system on a graphic calculator.

You know, anything that can be computed by a computer can be computed by any computer given enough time and memory. Depending on the model of graphing calculator, it would be possible to "program the SPECIAL system," as you put it, on the calculator.

It would depend on the calculator. I imagine some engineering calculators have enough RAM to do it.
