Lionheart now "officially" delayed

Post by Kreegle »

[ -> N/A]

The rumours are all true, dear friends. According to HomeLanFed, the new RPG Lionheart has been officially delayed until March 31, 2003... and this has been confirmed by a "spokesperson for Vivendi Universal Games (who handles the distribution for Lionheart's publisher Interplay)."

More time to polish things up = good!

typical, lol

vivendi have an office around the corner from me, they've been looking for french and german games testers,

Maybe its time to learn german!! i could infiltrate them and get copies of it before they release it!! heh :twisted:

Maybe they can use some of the extra time to add some kind of "stupid" dialog.

Even though I'm not at all looking forward to Lionheart, with Vivendi behind it they're most definitely gonna fuck the game up.
They're just as bad, if not worse, than Interplay. Delaying the release isn't usually a good sign.

well releasing it before its done is even worse

the sad fact is that they only get some time to fix what they really need, I hardly believe that they got more time to add things thats not needed - but good - like dumb dialog.

Well, it's not really a surprise for me. It was rumoured in a thread a month ago and now it's official. I guess it's a good thing, the last thing I'd want to see is a buggy CRPG, but delaying isn't always good. I doubt they will add any new stuff either. It looks like there aint gonna be no dumb dialogue at all. A pity, that. :?

We all remember that, and we all know that Lionheart's original release date was hopeful at best, fanastic at worst.

And nearly all games would suck even more if they weren't delayed.
