Alien Blaster

Post by Snake »

Just defeated Fallout a few days ago
I would have done so earlier but it tooks ages to find a copy to play
I'm playing as a chick to see what the differences in the game are, if any
I've seen the Alien Blaster pic on the DAC site and searched for it here but no mention of where it is found
Can anyone pls tell me?
Thx in advance

It's found in a random encounter (if I'm not mistaken, it's the most difficult to get).

You'll also identify it from the large saucer these are next to. Can't miss it, it's huge. It's a funny(but 50's looking) orange pistol, not overly usefull, but depending when you get it it can help you. It did help me the first time I got it. I didn't like the range much.

I played Fallout a couple of times and i only had that random encounter twice - with luck of 8. It really rocks at close distance, as it takes 1 ap less to shoot and has really good damage. Great stuff.

I've only gotten that encounter once, but it's a kick-ass weapon. If you're unpatient or can't get it you can use the Ctrl-R trick in the main menu, if I recall correctly that trick works in Fallout. It's quite useless though, because you can't get it with your own char.

My character has a luck of 5,

Always play with a Luck 10 character. It is SO much fun.

I especially like the Nuka Cola truck that was turned over.
Before the war, they were know as milking machines.
Now I use one to piss.
Does that answer your question?

Actually take 8 luck instead od 10. You'll get +2 from the guy in the tent in Adytum, so don't waste points. And yeah of course having 10 luck rocks - funny encounters + all shots are criticals with the sniper perk.

You have to let him read you the cards 3 times to get those luck points. I don't remember if you have to wait some time between the "readings", though.

Nope you don't have to wait to get the points. I think however that you don't get +2 every time so save/load to get it right.
