Help! I have been banned from Vault City

I pissed off Lynette because I would not destroy Gecko, and she kicked me out of the city and banned me.

Is there another way to get back into the city?

With a large gun, yes. Otherwise, reload.

You're screwed. Once you get banned from Vault City, you can't get back, peacefully. I hope you have a saved your game earlier.

Well you don't need to get into vault city to finish the game, so you're not "screwed", but you're going to miss quite a bit.

Quite frankly I think they should have made some way to redeem yourself (well, at least once...)

Semi-screwed? Well, Vault City is a fine source of exp. in early game(Gecko powerplant quest).

Nonetheless, you can still finish the game without ever setting foot in Vault City. However, VC is important enough that I would reload were I banned from there.

VC is a sweet place for a Combat based and a Charisma based PC, cuase you can either talk them all off and over, or you can just blow all thier brains out :twisted: . both reward some good EXP.

I haven't tried this after getting booted, but try take some Phycos to drop your intelligence, then talk to Steve. He'll should make you a servent in the Vault.

Why would you want to get back in?

Get the magnetosphere regulator, save Gecko, then blast the VC bigots to hell.

Well, you need VC for a few more major quests. You could get the Jet antidote from San Fran, but it is easier to get it from Dr. Troy.

the ending to the save gecko quest is broken, in exchange for the power they gave vault city, VC is SUposed to give gecko some medical help, but council-man gregory doesnt have the dialog option for you to give them the stuff, so theres why there is no good ending for gecko-- yet another broken quest... ::sigh::

The ending didn't seem too bad if you didn't optimize the reactor & give the info to the council. Vault city didn't invade them & it slowly ran out of power & stagnated.

Anyone have the text for that ending?
