If FoT2 beats FO3 out of the gate there will be lynchmobs prowling Irvine, CA looking for IP employees.Flamescreen wrote:If there are 2 of these, I can almost bet that one is either FO3 or FoT2. Both teams members have been active lately concerning both games.
So could I, except that I had a disturbing thought. Imagine if FoT2 came out and it totally blew FoT away...and it had awesome editors...but was completely incompatible w/the extant editors...and you had to ditch that campaign you've been working on for 6+ months or put it out on an outdated and buggy platform... 8OFlamescreen wrote:I can be happy with both.
(Yes, I realize they'd probably reuse the Phoenix engine for FoT2, but it's still a disturbing thought...)

"On the bounce, you apes! Do you wanna live forever?!"
Would I have a gloatfest on the V13 forums??? You betcha!!OnTheBounce wrote:If FoT2 beats FO3 out of the gate there will be lynchmobs prowling Irvine, CA looking for IP employees.
ME TOO!!!Flamescreen wrote:I can be happy with both.
That would really suck for you Map Rats!! Fingers crossed, should FO:T2 appear, there will be some way of converting your campaign to work with the new/improved engine....OnTheBounce wrote:

Btw, in the small possibility there is to see FoT2 earlier than FO3, I'd expect them to care a bit about the mappers, in including some tool to convert FoT maps to FoT2 maps. If not I'm sure there would be some hackers to do the job.
I'm an optimist, I know...
Just to throw wood in the fire: I think they mentioned having upgraded the Phoenix engine months ago...
RUMOURS That's all I have to say if -this- is the link Odin is searching...
Plus I couldn't find anywhere this peace of info Slig21 or whatever his nick is, is mentioning.
i hope they dont plan to milk the money cow. that path never leads to good. but it is a good idea. Fallout 3 better not be for a console. i hope that day shall never come.VaXiS wrote:Isn't it a a console Fallout (Final?) Fantasy? I think, Interplay wants to get some more money and then to make Fallout 3
