How come there's no Arcanum Forum?

It kind of surprises me that there's no Arcanum forum here. The two games are pretty closely related as far as gameplay goes. You have both Lionheart and Static(which I think was actually canceled), but not Arcanum which was made by one of the Fallout creators. *shrugs*

The SPECIAL system makes it related to the Fallout Universe....how? And the people working on Lionheart aren't even the same people who worked on Fallout. Reflexive is the developer, and Black Isle is helping with the publishing nonsense. Although, by your logic DAC should have a forum for Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2, Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance, Icewind dale, Planescape, and every other game with Black Isle's logo on it.

I think that Lionheart is related to Fallout because So many people calls it "Fallout Fantasy".

I don't see how Static would be different than Arcanum. It neither uses the SPECIAL system or was made by Black Isle....

Arcanum was made by Tim Cain and Co, the makers of Fallout. That's close enough for me

If you want an Arcanum forum though Ezechial_Rage, try the Terra-Arcanum - House of Lords

Best Arcanum forum around. Actually, It's the only Arcanum forum around... Well, there are two others, but they don't count

The Admins decide whatever the hell goes into what and as a direct result of administrator involvement it doesn't have to make any sense.

If you want an Arcanum-forum, seek out Kreegle or Killzig, bring a shotgun. Then, when they open their door, stick it in their chest and force one of them to make the said forum. It oughtta work. :mrgreen:

In my opinion, to have a forum here, the game needs to have:

--- post-apocalyptic setting

and/or

--- SPECIAL system

Read the Lionheart's background story again, if you're not sure about it being "post-apocalyptish".

A game that interests nobody here will never get its own forum or its own coverage.

And if everybody really liked Doom3 I wouldn't think it so strange that it will get its own forum*.

*Except from the fact that the game should have at least SOME connection with Fallout. I didn't write it because I felt it was obvious.

We lorve timmy but Arcanum isn't fallout-y enough to prop up a forum for it. hell, I didn't even want a lionheart or fallout tactics forum.

Doesn't it have a couple brahmin in it? That automatically makes Arcanum closer to Fallout than Lionheart ever will be. Quick put another forum up!!

Not many people know about Wasteland and there's a forum for it. Although, that's kinda going off topic. Why am I arguing? I don't even care if an Arcanum forum is made

Maybe there's just not enough demand for an Arcanum forum. I thought there would be more interest considering that it's a non linear rpg very much similar to the core elements of Fallout. Perhaps a poll could be made......

Does anyone here really have all that much to discuss about Arcanum? I think the Terra-Arcanum forums will do for everyone.

A question for the admins, now: During Arcanum's development and the months after its release, did one of the iterations of Duck and Cover post news about the game?
