That is depressing. At this rate we will get Fallout Fantasy for the PS2 & if it's successful enough to pull BIS out of the financial hole it's in we can expect many more console games ala BGDA.
Then again, Titus might sell off the division for a couple of $ if they can find any buyers. How long is the D&D liscence good for??

BIS doesn't have the D&D liscence. They have the liscence to Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale, and the setting and rule system(s) attached to those franchises. So they can only make D&D games as long as they're under the Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale name. Infogrames (which conveniently enough owns BioWare) has the full D&D liscence with all the setting that go with it (Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, Greyhawk, etc.).
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK! Damn ye black isle! Why dost thou torment me with this consoleish shit! Make me a game Im interested in! No. Thats really not rue. I like all the Black Isle games but I think the Fallout series is the only one worth working on right now. Really now. Icewind Dale 2 was really pushing it. :bad-words:
