Tim Geoghegan noticed that there's a bit of post-apocalyptic tomfoolery over at the <a href="http://www.somethingawful.com" target="_blank">Something Awful website</a> - a cheese-filled parody of all of the best / worst moments in post-apocalyptic entertainment. It's more like a cross between Omega Man, The Day After, some Road Warrior thrown in, and Raccoon City from Resident Evil. The author makes it pretty clear where all the story content comes from.

Well, the whole nuclear war part is what prompted me to submit this. Yes, I am indeed the nefarious Tim Geoghegan.

I would say that it only has elements of Resident Evil, which doesn't fit, really.

I found the story in the post most humorous. Thank you Kreegle for making it. I'm a little unclear as to who owns whom, but it's funny none-the-less.

I also found the story you linked to quite funny as well.

I know that, Doyle, but this episode was a poke at post-apocalyptic culture, of which Resident Evil is not a part of.

I think that's debatable. RE is apocalypse via biological means rather than nuclear, but it's still an apocalypse.
