Boy bands - good or evil?

So, what do you think? Are poppy boy bands the best thing ever, or are they over-commercialised faeces that should never have even been conceived by the dunderheads who produce them?

I think you can guess whch side i'm on. Discuss.

I couldn't care less as long as I get to listen to the music I like. I don't watch MTV or listen to popular radio stations much either, so it doesn't really matter. If someone likes that shit, then good for him/her - none of my concern.

I have mixed feelings about this. The current boy bands are just a modern version of '50's Doo Wop. Let me say that I LOVE Doo Wop. I liked it because it was carefree, it had style, and it was simple.

Modern boy bands tend to scare me off since they are so much more "sexualized", and let's face it, I'm not attracted to that.

they of course suck enormous amounts of monkeydick but i think they r necessary

that kinda thing has always been around,if there was no boybands all the 14 yo girls would prolly start to listen to good musik that i like and that would make me feel less than macho :roll:

also who would they think about while masterbating if there was no AJ,CJ,JK,AK,BJ,BS, or whatever the hell those guys r named?
