Vote Vic...yeah, he looks fat and old and slow and he's a sycophant. He's also one of the best rifle shots in the game after he levels up a time or three (and does just fine with a shotgun/hunting rifle right off). I've seen Vic make shots from across the screen around my entire party before.
Sulik is great in the early game, but he almost never survives the rig because he tries to rush with the super sledge too often. Even with 2 doses of psycho there're only a couple criticals he can take.
I do like cassidy. I give him power armor and a gauss pistol (he gets 2 shots a round off with it) and watch the carnage. My only gripe with him is that he can't use psycho, which almost always gets him dead on the rig, taking on either minigun turrets or the guass rifle floor.
Oh, and I never trust anyone in my party with a burst weapon Unless I've beaten the game and gotten myself several hundred HP. It doesn't matter what you're wearing if they get a critical that bypasses armor.
....and when do you actually NEED so much ammo in FO2 that you have to avoid burst weaponry? There's enough 10mm, .223 and 5mm ammo in there for a small army, with a large one behind it.

Goris was blatantly the coolest there was. I mean, the amount of times he has scratched and clawed his way out of my predicaments is just enormous. Oh, but the way the whole game stopped each time he put on... and took off his cloak thing really did start to piss me off, so I sold him as a slave. Made quite a bit of cash on the bastard, it was just my way of saying 'thanks'...
No, I didn't ocunt up all the 99ers. I just wanted to express how much money you might gain in the end. And many times you need money, when you go and buy those three PA's from San Fran Ok, if you're a thieving character, you can always steal the money back - but you still need the starting funds, right? It ain't "waste of power" if you tape down the number 1-button and just wait!Sc0pE wrote:you actually bothered to count up all the 99999's???Kashluk wrote: 102% gambling skill has been collecting you over 2800193650182 bottle ca... Is it an exploit if you just use your gambling skill? You can do it in numerous of places with a male or a female character, with any kind of luck stat... So I don't find anything wrong PLAYING AN ASPECT of the game!Fez wrote:I suppose though that high gambling skil is more of a "honest" way of getting money than using an exploit.

You'll be better off by taping down keys 5 4 and 3. Now that's the way to make money. I usually go to dinner while the game scratches a few dollars on my account
Got up to 15 mil.... then I got bored and killed everyone on the casino (bishop)
Now that's MY way of saying thanks for their loaded dices and endless suply of money.

Energy weapons belong in the game far more then real world guns such as the p90 and the Pancor.
According to Tim Cain, energy weapons were the standard millitary issue weaponary, with the assault rifle being standard issue to rear echelon troops (such as those stationed in research bases and depots.......).
They have a place in the game certainly it being a 50s pulp sci fi kicsch world where one must have ray guns, but there are far too many of them (especailly in the latter part of FO2 with all those raiders with plasma rifles).
