Fallout 2 gets a shitty review

Discuss the game that started it all, and its sequel. Technical questions and issues go into the Fallout Technical Support forum, not here.

Yeah, I remember that too... Pelit gave something like 93/100 to the first VERY buggy version!

And MB gave...ummm... something 91? Can't remember..

Fallout 2, right? Read again, it says the score is based on the patched version. I have every Pelit-magazine up to date.
The original Fallout got 'only' 91 points, for some reason. Ah well...

By the way, I suggest you read the 9/2002 issue, it has a long article about Fallout and it's history with emphasis on Tim Cain & co. A very accurate one, too.

Oh, well thanks for clearing it out.
I only have a few numbers, bought every now and then...but maybe I'll go and buy that 9/2002.. was it long story there? Not much point of bying a magazine for just one page eh? Or then I'll go to library..

I think the story was 4 or 5 pages long, pics included.

Yup, it was a nice article. Not much new, but well written nevertheless.

You're forgetting PC Gamer. They gave it a final score of 85%.

Well, yeah, but no one pays attention to PC Gamer because they're hype/BioWhore slaves. "OMG [BioWare game here] IS SO GOOD BECAUSE OF A COMBAT STYLE THAT CATERS TO OUR LACK OF ATTENTION SPAN AND A TOTALLY CLICHED STORY WITH NO OTHER WAYS OF PLAYING TO DISTRACT US FROM THE GRAPHICS!! OMGOMG! SO COOL! ALSO, WE ENJOY BIOWARE PRODUCTS A LITTLE TOO MUCH SINCE THE INFINITY ENGINE GAMES ARE ALL THE SAME AND WE LIKE THE STAGNATION OF THE GENRE!"
