Kind of reminds me of the ending of Little Nicky, with the "actor" putting on a one-man show. That one man being the freak.

Hi all.

As you wanted here is a member of Team-X. I don't know english so good as you do, but I'll try to explain some things, because our leader, Communist, asked me about this.

First I wanna say
"they don't listen to user feedback from those not in the team"
It's lie. We're listening to the lot of crap peoples say to us. The problem is that you don't wanna understand our problems. You wanna see what you wanna see, nothing more. You don't wanna understand our technical problems.

"TeamX works exclusively for Russian market"
No we don't. But we have a problem with translators. And.. what "market" are you talking about? We work for all fans. And, IMHO, all fans gotta do the same thing. You wanna MOD? Work for it.

"They have a lot of internal problems"
And will you have a lot of problems trying to organize a lot of peoples doing unpaid work?

"They are modders, and they got unique vision of what their mod is to be. If it doesn't sound like the mod you are working on right now, then you should keep working harder to prove that your mod is better than theirs."
Yap. And a Black Isle too :). Wanna help? Go ahead! But remember, each your story has it's own map, personages with their own scripts and so on. Most of peoples can tell us a story, but they don't wanna work on dialogues and so on. It is simply to make a stories. But is is hard to make it work.

"If you are planning to be a translator - don't bother. Text is crap, and they got lots of it."
Think before say that can you do better? And if you don't - shut up.

Talk and talk, and talk... If you wanna see something else - write us, join us, help us. Because we need more than just talking.

And another one thing. We did crap. Yes. But we did it. And no one else don't. We're learning. We're getting stronger.

I said.

I do, and I totally respect the fact that it was the russian fans who cracked the script code and made the mapper. But your requests for user feedback hardly went beyond minor gameplay issues as well as ridiculous "what drugs do you want to see in the mod" and "what team logo will be best". Now, if you strongly believe in your writers and do not want any feedback on that, fine. But don't say that you do listen to the feedback on the setting.
"TeamX works exclusively for Russian market"
No we don't.
Yes you do. Russian version goes first, and I have seen ZERO support for english players. I am again assuming that the purpose of TeamX is to make a mod, not to write the tools and formats for others to use.
But we have a problem with translators. And.. what "market" are you talking about? We work for all fans. And, IMHO, all fans gotta do the same thing. You wanna MOD? Work for it.
Okay, first things first - who would even want to translate many kilobytes of badly written text? I had the pleasure of working on "Fallout Quest" translation and I would do it again, but I wouldn't touch Mod Demo texts with a wooden stick. Market - what happened with the idea of distributing the mod on university campuses and selling them via pirate network? About working fans - true here, I wish some people would stop rambling and start learning script language.
"They have a lot of internal problems"

Yes, I would.

That's actually a good idea - to give every junior designer his own map and make him responsible for finishing it, while senior designers coordinate the work.

I can. At least I won't write stupid slang-o wisecracks for 'aggressive' answers.
I said.
Olesher, is that you? No wonder the text sucked - man who loves Perumov shouldn't be let within a mile near Fallout story.

"what drugs do you want to see in the mod"
Many peopeles do not think about the balance. Do you? Give more drugs! Give me cool weapon! Give me Gauss Big Gun! Is that you want?

"I have seen ZERO support for english players"
Every utility, every comments and helps is written in english. Check it. You've never tried, isn't it?

"who would even want to translate many kilobytes of badly written text"
There are some peoples, who think you're wrong. I am translating the text, you even didn't read. And some peoples who understand our troubles help us.

"That's actually a good idea - to give every junior designer his own map and make him responsible for finishing it, while senior designers coordinate the work. "
Ha! Ha! Ha! What are you talking about? Do you realize that map consist of not only tiles and walls? It gotta have some purpose, some critters with their own scripts and so on. And even little special encounter map needs a lot of work.

"At least I won't write stupid slang-o wisecracks for 'aggressive' answers."
Fallout is for all. Even for stupids. If you wanna see only "H-nkhgks gkahsdfkaskjf" and other unreadable crap - ok, do it. There are stupids and where are geniuses. Did your informant played stupids only, so you're talking about stupit phrases only?

"Olesher, is that you?"
No. I am only whi I am. I am Wasteland Ghost. And I like classik: Strugatsky and so on :).

Guys, stop saying crap. Most of you even didn't seen demo. So what are you talking about?

Hey, sounds like how Fallout 2 was made! "We want deathclaw NPCs! And supermutants! We want more pop culture references! We want more real world weapons!"

Yes, I agree with you. Most people don't think before they fling out suggestions. What's sad is, BIS didn't think when they took those suggestions either.

There needs to be a great deal of coordination, really. This was another failing of Fallout 2. You have the problem with areas not fitting well with one another. You have too many locations with a theme, like the western town, the dystopic town, the kung fu town, and so on. Fallout was more in tune with what everything was like no matter where you went.

A lack of communication and coordination is what caused this Theme Parkish problem.
