ToEE sounds fine to me, saves fingers from typing out *The Temple of Elemental Evil* repeatedly. although to be honest, the latter doesn't sound half bad either. I'm in shock that there might be a computer D&D game worth playing.
I'm wondering at the 3E rules & guess it's about time I go take a good look at them. I'm a 2nd Edition gamer & have never played a single campaign under the 3rd edition rules.

ToEE is the obvious choice.
3E is great, Lark. It just makes sense. Skills are much better than proficiencies, and feats are good stince they're stolen from Fallout. And there's a variety of social skills built right into Third Edition. Troika won't have to add anything at all to give an alternative to hack-n-slash.

Look around K man.Kreegle wrote:Vote "Guardian as the grumpiest little monkey around".
What happened to you Guardian? You used to be such a cheery bloke, from memory.
All the people i used to play around with are gone, why, even the man behind the famous pooch image isnt here anymore, NOTHING'S TRUE AND IM CONFUSED so leave me be, im allowed to be grumpy.
I mean, come on, even OTB's gone now. Who's going to show me how stupid i am? So im left with nostalgia and grumpiness.
And jj, the place where my life takes place has nothing to do with it.
