If I recall correctly, NPCs in your party don't get crippled limbs or blindness. They also aren't affected by radiation and poisoning. Only thing you need to worry about is their hitpoints. I don't also recommend letting them use any drugs, because they can become addicted to it.Haethurn wrote:As in, I will be able to tell if an npc has a crippled limb or a damaged eye...things like that.
First Aid and Doctor-What is the difference?
NPCs in your party do get crippled limbs, blindness, and other serious injuries. I remember having to use the doctor skill on Dogmeat to heal his broken leg once.VasikkA wrote:If I recall correctly, NPCs in your party don't get crippled limbs or blindness. How about Mental Block in FO2, huh, huh (waggles eyebrows)?I'm of the belief that the worthless perk is a myth. It is nonexistent. Every perk can help in some way.

Can anyone else answer that question? I can't, because the last time i played, i did an experiment to the tune of running straight to the tanker, cheating everything up, and beating the game at an early level to see what would happen to the individual towns if i didn't interfere in anything. That was a while ago.

Pretty much like you would expect, modoc dies, Vault City conquers Gecko, Redding falls into a death-spiral, Broken Hills is destroyed by mutant haters, New Reno is taken over by the Salvatores, NCR takes over Vault City (i guess after VC destroys Gecko, maybe the developers didn't expect this experiment ), DeathClaws die (again, don't ask me how), the Shi create their radiation plant, and the vagrants drift on....and of course, arroyo lives!

Didn't INTERFERE with anything, Red. He still might've travelled through the towns, bought a stimpack or two and so. But he didn't interfere with any of the quests ;)Red wrote:You're lying. Never said i kept perfect notes either. It could just be that i'm remembering things that happened in previously played games, or things that mysteriously happened after i went and interfered, like Horrigan reappearing to slaughter the deathclaws after i got the exp for fixing their generator and taking Goris.
