Fallout skin for Unreal Tournament 2K3

Post by Kreegle »

<strong>[ -> N/A]</strong>

Czposch found this interesting (and dare I say it, actually pretty cool) slice of fun over at <a href="http://www.beyondunreal.com/dl.php/skin ... rarmor.zip" target="_blank">Skin City</a>... a power armour skin for Unreal Tournamant 2003. Take a peek:<blockquote><center><a href="http://skincity.beyondunreal.com/sectio ... 48402a18f2" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.duckandcover.net/news/ut2k3s ... quote>Nice pose, darling! You can see more of the skin (and download it too) by hitting <a href="http://skincity.beyondunreal.com/?secti ... fos&id=201" target="_blank">this link</a>... cheers Czposch!

Why must everyone use that horrible fucking travesty of a Fallout Tactics armor?

Good God... That's UT2k3? Are you sure it's not Quake II? That model really looks like ass. It would have helped if

a) they used more than twelve polygons and

b) they would put their textures' resolution at a little bit more than 640x480.

And it would have to be T-51, of course.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

It's just a poor quality pic, there's other pics of it:

the red one looks pretty good.

Look at the blue one. Compare the model to the gun he's holding. That model is simply not p to the standard of UT2k3 or that of modern 3D gaming.

Did anyone download and test the model? I don't plan on buying UT2k3 any time soon, so I can't get an accurate look.

Well whoop-de-doo, what the fuck did you expect? It's not like the guy is a modeler for Epic.
Not that I find the PA particulary beautiful either.

I think the author chose to model the Tactics Power Armour because it was the only one he could get decent reference for. The T-51b and the Adv PA don't have any decent renders to work from. And cut the guy some slack, it's a pretty damned decent effort.

Anyone notice that the helmet is much smaller than the guys head?
