Well, I recently finished BOSCops mission. I have to say it was one of my fav maps out there, all the different ways of finishing the missions to miss out others or get hidden ones. Also, if your squadmate died, you couldn't get more missions which I found to be a little odd at first but got used to it.

The only complaint I have about it is that it starts off looking at the buggy so you can't see your characters unless you zoom to them, that was a little annoying at first.

The sheriff's character was well done and thought out brilliantly.

Post your thoughts here.

This is by far (but only so far) my favorite custom mission.

I have a question though, and I don't really know if I should ask it here, but:

I found both girls in the bowling alley (plus the suicide), wiped out the cult (including the two upstairs), then returned to the sheriff, but he won't say anything. What'd I miss?

*SPOILER*

Memory serves, you have to do something else before the sheriff will talk to ya. I'm pretty sure it involves the women in the park that are being harassed by some guys.
Closing our eyes forces us to look
At the darkness inside.
Our emotions always find us
Regardless of where we hide.

Thanks for the compliment about the map, but I have some bad news in regard to your question. I'm assuming you downloaded the map a long time ago and only recently played it (or downloaded it from somewhere other than Duck and Cover). Unfortunately in the initial version of the map (that was available for about a month on Duck and Cover) there was a bug in the scripting where the mission could not continue in some cases at the point you have mentioned. In the version of the map currently available on DAC, this bug is fixed.

Try this first: If you have completed the bowling alley mission and the sheriff won't talk to you to give you the next quest, go up to the park area along the northern edge of the map across the street from the bowling alley. You'll find some punks harassing two young ladies. If you can kill all the hoodlums without allowing either of the women to be killed, you should then be able to go to the sheriff and get your next mission without any problem.

On the other hand, if you have previously done this encounter in the park and one or both of the women got killed, unfortunately due to the scripting bug (which, again, has now been fixed in the version of BOSCops currently available on DAC) there is no way you can proceed with the adventure and you'll either have to reload from a save-game prior to when you did the fight in the park, or if no save-game is available you'll unfortunately have to start the game over (preferably after getting the updated version of the map with the bug fixed). I'm very very sorry about any frustration this will cause, but hopefully you just haven't ventured into the park area yet and will be able to simply save the two women there in order to continue from where you're at in the game.
