Got great hand-eye coordination? Here's the place to show it off. You can also upload your work (images, audio, and video) and view our fan art gallery (currently defunct, bug forum management to fix it).
This is also the forum for all of you blossoming Camus' to exercise your brain power by writing and posting fan fiction.
In Fallout we know the Brotherhood's insignia, the basic raider insignias, and a few others.
However, does anybody know what the Enclave's insignia was? I know it was mentioned in the game when you view an Enclave guard's body, but we never really seen it. (Part of it can be seen on a vertibird also) I figure this would be fan-art material.
Isn't the enclaves insigna on the concrete on the entrance to vault 8 (vault city) and on the floor in the first room of the oil platform... isnt' that it?
I think that was the logo for Poseidon Oil, not Enclave. Enclave, at its core, is United States government, and it's leader is the president of the United States. So it's 'insignia' would be the background of "Buy War Bonds" teevee-ad seen in "Fallout" intro. I'll try to find a screenshot of it...
Heh, the ultimate evil actually carries the US flag. How about that, Hammer? ;-)
You're an ass clown, how about that?
Anyway that buy war bonds thing I don't think would make sense, if you can look close at the vertiberts in Navarro, they appears to have red thingys on the side of them in what appears to be a radar doom. (The buldging circular thing on the side of the cockpit)
Since Enclave = alternate timeline America, then Enclave symbol = alternate timeline America's flag. That is, the Stars and Stripes with the circular arrangement of stars.
well, its not just an alternate timeline, but also a theoretical future. (i wonder if that made any sense).
remember, that the great war didnt actually happen for a while after now, and before the nukes went off there was lots of conquering, including the annexing of Canada. (i guess it isnt that far in the future)
The flag probably takes into account some of these changes, as well as the 1950's feel
