Earlier, HeadGames had just gone out on the net and downloaded other
users levels, repackaged them and sold them. Ick.
I remember that too, everyone was pissed about that, it even got to the gaming mags.

Well your game was a bit erratic on level design, but since it only had a few bad guys from the original QuakeII and the textures were new, i never thought that you had make it in six weeks.
Anyway i`ll get your game if it gets distributed here, a litle Z-movie nonsense is always good to relax a bit ;)

The sad part about Head Game's Aftershock, as it was called, is that
it made those guys a huge load of cash. There was such a backlash after that, that ours, even though it was all original, didn't do too well..

I wish you the best of luck, the game looks very promising. I've got 2 questions:
1) Do you know if the game gets distributed over here in South America?
2) Do you guys make enough money as an independent software developer to support yourselves or is it something like a "side-job" for people who work in bigger companies?

Pastorius...I don't believe that we'll have distribution in South America anytime soon, but I will ask our publisher.
You can, of course, order online from someone like ebworld.com

As for us, no, it's not a "side job". We can support ourselves. But, it is a tricky business, and not for the faint of heart. We have to start looking for a contract almost as soon as we sign one. We have had downtime between projects that can threaten to unweave what we've built. But we've managed to keep it together for 5 years now.... thanks for asking!

What about Wal-Mart? Can I expect to find it there?

payne....there should be piles of 'em in Wal Mart by now. If you want to save yourself the running around, www.valusoft.com is the quickest way to get them. The retailers have been slow on the pickup on this title..go figure. :? ...but I think they're scrambling for it now :D

I got the demo from a cover cd. Good arcade fun, if it was full price i wouldn`t buy it, since it seems short, but at that price i´m going to get it for sure. It really feels B-movie all over, and the music is incredible, congrats for the guy that did the music score.

Briosa..what mag had the cover disc? Just curious.

I'm glad you pointed out the music. It's all original, written by our friend, and hollywood up and comer, Michael Wandmacher. His website is at www.michaelwandmacher.com

We are very fortunate to have his contribution to this game, he is one seriously talented dude.
Check it out!

What's up with WAL-MART? Arrrgh. You can't imagine how frustrating it is to have people wanting to buy the game and can't find it. Again, try
online if you gotta have it, that 's the guaranteed place...

Briosa...not true....MegaScore is getting a review copy of the game probably this week. I was contacted by them a couple of weeks ago!
(But, you're right, prior to that I hadn't heard of them)

And Payne, DON'T DO IT!!! It was cool, still is cool, but for God's sake,
man, you need the new hotness. :)

Just kidding. Other places to try are Circuit City, Media Play, GameStop.

Or just order the durn thang online. Save gas, save the planet, destroy cities, you know, yadda yadda yadda.....

All of which are an hour's drive away. and at 70mph no less. And the next game I"m gonna order oniline is SoA, since even with shipping it'd still be less than I was an atomic mutant. BUT NO HARD FEELINGS YO!!

eh, they might have it at wally world by now.
