fame is pissing me off!!!!!

:mad: i admit it im stupid. i know jack shit about moding and the such the only thing i know is how to install and play them(until know) i used to have fame and i somehow had it working and now i cant get to, and god forbid there to be a decent help file anywhere ......please help im about ready to go nuts

so ok i downloaded fame for fallout 2 off of nma.com. i had it once before and it worked just fine. but know it just gives me an error message and does nothing i tried downloading it again but nothing. ive even tried several other sites but it still will not work and ill be damned if i can find a readme file anywhere. this is the message it gives me

I just ran the thing on XP and it ran just dandee.. Well, the app ran anyway, I didn't check wether it actually ran the game properly though...

FaME is not running any of my mod.dat files.

I've dl FaMe from every web sit and tried 5 different FaME.exe but none of them run the mod.dats I want

I'm running XP

Does FaME have to run in some kind of Compatible Mode like Win95?
