How do I make new ammo types?

I wanted to make new ammo types in addition to those already included in the game but the editor only let me choose among existing types.

I wanted to make new 5.7 ammo without replacing any of the ammo already present. I made a gun and the ammo but in both case i chose 5.56mm in the "ammo type" box because i couldnt write my own. Problem is my gun can also load 5.56mm ammo in addition to my new rounds which i dont want.
