Faint purple light was coming from no specific location. Murky air was hanging quietly in the dark halls. Silence of the other world was felt there... Shadows of some strange persons and thier quiet muttering was seen sometimes in the darkness of this grim place, but everything was disappearing in the silence... and darkness of the crawling mist.

"Where are we? What is this place?" - warrior asked quietly and looked around with caution. Darkness and silence of this place was making him nervous. His companion in strange clothes smiled lightly and answered:
"We are standing among ocean of chaos. This walls are the small piece of order in endless void of madness. This dark halls are the only bleak of reason in the darkness of the afterlife. This silent stones are the place for the sunrays to meet darkness in it's constant fight... This is home for all runners among the planes, who has no other place to go. Plane and time runners, cursed by their kin; dream weavers and shape shifters, banned from all existence; matter rulers, fallen gods and heroes of the past... My home..." - BB became quiet for a while and breathed deeply. The cold fresh air rushed into his lungs, bringing pleasant memories and promising more to come. It was the air of inter-plane's world... the air of his home. He smiled lightly and looked at warrior:
"Well, I don't think that you are interested in all this stuff. Enough to say that you'd better not to leave this place without me. The outside world of this plane is much harsher, than yours... Nature itself is trying to drain all senses from your body and making you insane..."
"I can take care about myself." - Sir_Funkalot noticed grimly. The silence and darkness of this place was creepy. Strange shadows were roaming in the darkness of the corridors and halls seen all around. Walls and doors... there were no windows or any other mean to see this strange grim outside world. But by some reason warrior believed BB's words. He felt as waves of chaos was raging near the walls of this strange place. Halls of Illuminate. It was not a building - it was a whole small world with it's dwellers... and gods. Bloodbathmaster2 smiled to his thoughts and looked at Sir_Funkalot:
"I know that you can take care about yourself. Otherwise you wouldn't find you way here... I just want to warn you. Follow me. This place can be creepy for the unprepared. If you lose your way, you may lose your sanity too. It is in short supply here..."
Warrior in high-tech armour grinned and looked around.
"I saw places far worse, than this one. Give me what you have promised and I'll take care about the rest."
BB sighed deeply and turned away, hiding light smile. He steped forward into the darkness and disappeared in the gloom of the nearby corridor. Sir_Funkalot left alone for a second. It was very strange feeling, as if he was thrown into the endless well. Darkness was crawling and whispering quietly around. Strange faint purple light was whirling around. The feeling of loneness and sadness fell heavily upon his shoulders. He could resist barely... But it was only a second. He shook his head, looked around grimly and followed after his companion into the whirling murky air of the halls.

***************

Flasher was hissing quietly in the darkness. It was giving more smoke, than light and raider coughed hardly. His eyes were not used for a bright light yet and were full of tears. The light of the flasher was running by the stony walls of this dark place and by piles of sand, running from above...
"In the darkness of the storm you fell from the roof of one of the building directly here... in the basement of it. You are lucky that you are alive yet and didn't broke anything seriously." - Ruben Rooben Reuben said quietly, looking into the darkness, fleeting from the light of the flasher. JimboSan stood up slowly and took another flasher. He turned it on to look clearly over his head, but saw nothing there except dirty walls and sand.
"You willn't see manhole, through which you fell here. It is burried by large amount of sand... as we are. Until the storm will be stopped, we are blocked here." - Ruben Rooben Reuben said and shook his head tiredly. Reaver looked around and grinned:
"Heh, it could be worse. At least we are safe..."
His friend raised his eyes suddenly and laughed grimly. His laugh was strangly cold and emotionless. It looked like that sounds were coming from the darkness itself:
"I don't want to disappoint you, my friend, but the things are much worse than you can even imagine..." - he looked somewhere into the darkness of this dark place, disappearing in the gloomy air, and continued - "We are not burried alive here. This place, you fell so fortunatly in, is part of large underground network... miles and miles of corridors, half-destroyed vaults and halls... And we have little choice - we can wait here until the storm will stop and some fucking monsters will appear to have breakfast... or we can go directly into their's lair. Surely, we can find some way from this underground maze, but it is more likely that we'll find our death here. We don't have enough food or ammo. There is no source of light here and if we haven't find the way out of here soon enough, we'll..." - suddenly he became quiet and looked suspiciously into the darkness. His eyes were dark, as if he could see something there. His hissed quietly and than shuddered - "They know that we are here. We should hurry."
JimboSan stood up quickly and looked around. Only now he began to notice that it was not an ordinary basement of an old building. It was some kind of the vault with thick walls and corridors, made from iron and cement. They were disappearing in the darkness of this place. The only exit could be found only somewhere there down in the darkness. The way outside was blocked by sand and raging storm. There were no way to leave it... and there were no way to stay there. Reaver began to feel as some creatures were looking at him from the shadows, lusting for his blood. He sighed lightly, gathering with strengths and took his gun, lieing nearby. The stimpacks made him rather healthy, though he was very tired. If he could, he would have some more rest, but he couldn't. There were very little time to waste.
"I have a feeling that you know this place. Am I wrong?" - he noticed quietly, gathering his equipment from the ground. His calm friend looked at him grimly and than nodded. His face was calm, but his eyes were flashing furiously:
"I know this place... It is called Corridors of Despair by it's dwellers."
"Dwellers?!" - JimboSan asked, looking around with surprise. He saw a little of this place, but he already has got a feeling that it is not very safe place. Ruben Rooben Reuben looked at him and smiled sadly:
"Yes, even in this place of death and horror people live. This place is cursed, but they try to survive anyway. Some say that great treasure lies hidden somewhere within deepest corridors... I believed it too long ago, but I left this place than... I hoped that I wouldn't see this blasted place again, but fate is a strange thing." - he looked into the darkness and drew his knife. It's blade was shining furiously under the light of flasher. Ruben Rooben Reuben smiled evily and grinned:
"Be prepared - I'll try to lead you into the safety of the Central Corridors. Most of the people are gathering there... but don't forget that there is no safety in this place. Wasteland is far more peacful place, than this cursed den of evil. Half of the people are mad here... the other are close to it. In every shadow some bloody monster is waiting to jump in your guts. Deathclaws are not the worse mutated freaks, which live here among all this bastards. Leave your sanity, if you want to survive here..."
JimboSan looked at his seriously and than smiled grimly:
"I left it long ago." - he answered and looked at the gun.

"The council." - BB said quietly and fell back slowly, disappearing in the shadow of large hall. This one was not very different than any other hall, which they passed, while they were coming to this place. Halls and rooms alike were empty and quiet. Mist and shadows were lurking in it's dark corners. There were nobody and nothing. At least Sir_Funkalot noticed nothing... no alive beings... The council. Warrior looked around, waiting to see some glorious dark rulers of this place, but he found nothing. This hall was dark and quiet as always and similiar to any other one. Nothing has changed. Sir_Funkalot looked around, searching for his companion. What the hell did it mean? This question was burning his mind. Was it some kind of stupid joke or something..? But there were nobody... Or may be there were somebody? This strange idea crawled into his mind from nowhere. For a long time he was watching after shadows. He saw quick moves in the darkness and quiet whisper. Cloacked unclear figures... quiet mutter and hissing of the clothes...
"The council." - warrior said quietly, looking into the darkness. Black and lifeless emptyness was surrounding him. Cold air of this deserted place was whirling around, but he was looking ahead patiently. His eyes began to hurt and his head began to whirl. Sir_Funkalot began to hear mutter clearly. Unseen figures began to appear on his eyes from nothing, taking forms and reality on his own wishes... He was looking into the alive blackness and it was looking at him. It had four pairs of eyes. The council of four was standing before him quietly.

"... he is the one, BB has found. His abilites are limited as any outlander does... but we have no choice. The others are coming too close to find it." - said one of the tall figures. They were surrounded by shadows and it was impossible to say who or what were they. To tell the truth, warrior didn't care. Their conversation interested him greatly:
"Killzig and the others... They must be stoped by any means from obtaining this artifact." - noticed another man.
"Even by mean of total destruction?! Nobody can say for sure what powers it holds. To allow one of them..." - he looked at warrior and grinned grimly, though there were seen no face at all on his black figure - "to get it. It is madness."
The three of the council was argueing quietly. Their voices were hissing in the gloom of the hall and ringing in the dead silence. Darkness was crawling around them, listening for them and hiding thier words from Sir_Funkalot. It was very hard for a warrior to focus in this whirling nightmare, where everything was running, hissing and ringing all around. Only four dark shadows before him was standing as rulers of this place.
"The council of four..." - finally silent figure rose his hand and everybody became silent. They were looking at him with worry, waiting for his decision. The figure came forward and came closer to the warrior. It's hands were nothing, but gathering of darkness. Now Sir_Funkalot saw it. He shuddered and tried to turn away, but he couldn't. Black endless void of his eyes were holding him.
"The council of four - I have made the decision. Champion of Bloodbathmaster2 will take the quest..." - the deadly silence was an answer to him. Warrior was alone now in the empty hall and lonely figure of that man was standing before him. He said nothing and even didn't move, but his words were ringing in the motionless air and mind of warrior alike:
"Ask you question, human."

****************

Evil laugh was travelling by the wastes, joined by wheeze and curses. Hot air was rising from the bloodstained sand as human was looking at his enemy. The eyes of Big Jack were burning furiously with hell fire, but his laugh was cold. Tall warrior in black leather was standing before him and was looking ahead, watching after several dark shadows. He had many opponents in his long life, but this creatures were surely something new. Kashluk shuddered and looked at his gun with doubt. One could notice even without keen eyes that those, who was rushing to them, were not humans. Black perverted bodies, as if they were skinned. Dark clothes were hiding them from common look, but Kashluk noticed that these creatures were quick, deadly... and illusive. He felt as it was coming from them. Warrior turned around and looked at dyeing man grimly:
"You are too cheerful for a person, who will die today." - he noticed. BigJack grinned and spitted to the sand with blood:
"I am simply happy that my killer will join me soon enough."
"We shall see." - he answered grimly, but noticed evil gleam in eyes of his dyeing enemy. He laughed lightly, though his lungs were full of blood and said quietly:
"You will see... nothing... They are Haplo's minions... Cloacked with shadows... Only shadow or similiar being can hurt them..."
Kashluk looked grimly at his enemies. They were coming closer with terrible speed. Only several minutes ago they were barely seen over the horizon, but now they were running by the wasteland in several miles from them... and coming closer. Their intensions were clear and quite simple. Thier guns were reflection bloody sun rays and bright bleaks were shining on the bloodcovered blades. Kashluk turned away and looked at BigJack with worry. He didn't believe him, but he knew that this guy was right. Many minions and servants of cursed Haplo were from his shadowy homeland, where black knight-command post was founded not so long ago. Warrior looked at unconsciousness supermutant and sighed deeply. It looked like that it would be messy stuff. Kashluk checked his gun and lookedd at BigJack again:
"Do you know the way to kill them?" - he asked grimly. It looked like that dieing man was waiting only for this question. His eyes flashed evily and laugh was seen there:
"Yes... I know the way... <cough> to kill... the only way is... I will... kill... them..." - every new word was leaving his words with great struggle. The blood was hissing on his lips. His lungs were boiling with blood. Kashluk looked at him and grinned - now even blind ghoul could finish him. He turned way, but suddenly felt coldness of someone's hand on his neck. Tall warrrior looked around quickly, ready to smash one's guts among the whole wastes, but found nothing except dieing man. Somehow he was able to get up and now was holding him strongly:
"Body issss nothing. Spirit... It must be healed." - he hissed and collapsed to the earth. Kashluk looked at him and sighed deeply:
"What do you want..? Or need." - he asked and looked with worry to the desert. Shadows...
"Blood... I need your blood or soul. Small part of it or you'll lose it anyway soon enough." - suddenly the voice of BigJack became strong and loud. It was ringing in the air and was traveling with echo of it - "Air is nothing for me now. Darkness is my live essence. If you think that you can finish Doyle on your own, try your best. It will be pleasant to watch after your death." - Kashluk looked at his enemy, but he was not moving. It looked like that he lost his last breath and now he was dieing slowly. His eyes were closed. His face was pale. Blood was flowing slowly now from his wound... but the words were sounding in the air yet.
Tall warrior was standing and was looking at coming treat. They were close now. Several more minutes and their bullets will be able to reach them. Kashluk closed his eyes and sighed:
"May be I'll sorry about it later, but now I have little choice."
He sat near BigJack and gave him his hand... He didn't afraid of pain, but surely it was unpleasant sight to watch after this guy, taking his hand, tearing the skin, pulling his teeth into the flesh...

"And now watch after the show and enjoy it." - man in torn leather armour said and laughed loudly. Blood was seen on his lips, but now it was not his blood. Kashluk was sitting near him and was holding his left bloodcovered hand. His face was pale and hatred was gleaming there. It was giving only more joy for BigJack. He looked at him and laughed louder:
"You are lucky, that I am not so terrible as Pyro. If I were him, you would lie with crushed skull already... but I am not him and you are alive. Surely, it was a good shot, that nailed me to the ground, but I didn't know that you are not native for this planet. It was rather unfair. Well, may be next time we'll discuss it again, but for now I have a small problem to take care about. He turned around and looked at three figures in black clothes standing before him. The fourth one was standing in the distance and was looking after it too with interest. BigJack raised his hands and smiled to Kashluk again with his unpleasant grinning smile:
"Your blood gave me strengths. Watch after the true power and imagine that it might be you."
The air began to whirl madly, sucking everything around him into the black mouth of the void...

Don't worry, Dan. I'll just write a quick ending.

Dan and Spazmo looked at each other, rage and vengeance in their eyes. Dan nodded, and Spazmo followed suit. The two then turned to VasikkA. Dan pulled his Gatling Turbo Plasma Rifle Grenade Launcher from his holster and Spazmo drew his sword from the scabbard on his back.
With a fierce cry, Spazmo lunged at VasikkA. Before the confounded Finn could ask what was happening, his left arm had been sliced off by the razor-sharp sword. A loud explosion sounded from behind Spazmo. The swordsman quickly turned around and saw that Dan had fired a volley of flaming death at VasikkA. Spazmo barely had time to dive aside before the grenade, wreathed in a halo of superheated plasma, tore VasikkA's legs off, leaving his still-alive torso to fall to the ground.
Spazmo and Dan then walked up to VasikkA's mutilated form. Spazmo picked up the arm he had cut off and Dan hefted a leg over his shoulder. They both started beating the half-man to death with his own severed limbs.
Eventually, their grim work was done. VasikkA's ravaged corpse lay still in the Wasteland. It was still standing up, in a grotesque mockery of a living being: the torso was impaled on the remaining leg, and the severed arm had been forced into VasikkA's gaping mouth.

THE END

THE END

OR IS IT?

Paynetothemax was alone now. All alone. He had killed everyone and everything within a thirty mile radius and there was nobody left. Nobody but him. The aliens had escaped before Paynetothemax's rampage, leaving shortly after the brutal death of VasikkA. But everyone else had died. Paynetothemax, having nothing better to do, killed himself.

Somewhere far away, Killzig laughed.

THE END

Are you kidding me? It would be brilliant! I can see it now...

Dan, me, and a hundred hot babes are sharing our new mansion in the Space Carribean. We're sitting by the pool sipping Space Tropical Drinks while the babes are entertaining us in a variety of creative manners. Then, an alarm goes off: Zombie attack. VasikkA has returned from the dead and has brought an army of zombies to get revenge on us. So then Dan and I get our gear together and go kill some zombie ass. There could be a really cool part where VasikkA tries to kill with of us by beating us to death with his own severed arm.
