The folks at HomeLan Fed had a chance to preview GSC Gameworld's upcoming Survival/Horror FPS/RPG/whatever else you can fit in there. The page long article briefly goes into the story, setting, and some other good stuff. Here's a taste:

Even at this very early stage, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Oblivion Lost is looking extremely good and it should be interesting to see what GSC Game World does to implement their ambitious gameplay goals into the title. The developer is promising to show more gameplay at E3 this May and we hope to see more of the game at that time. At the moment, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Oblivion Lost itself is slated for release before the end of the year.

You can read the full preview right here. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention yesterday, but IGN's preview has several "shaky cam" movies of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. demo in action. You might want to check those out.

I watched the movies. Too bad you don't see any critters. Looks fekkin nice tho'. I wonder how it would be to find those BRDM's along the road and kick out the remains of the previous owner and do some joyriding.
