You know, witty banter aside, bitching and moaning passed over, and back on topic...

I don't see how you can simply say "anime sucks" and be done with it. Surely, there is something there worth seeing, provided you could get past your ignorant viewpoints and hatred of all things unfamiliar to yourself. Blind yourself to the terrible things that come from the world and open your eyes to the few gleaming gems that make all the hell and shitstorms and fecal matters and long dialogue scenes in action movies worth it. Surely, one could say motorcycles suck and then get in their car, but both would just as surely take you to your destination. Honestly now. Saying "anime sucks" and then going and watching a movie would be like saying "vodka sucks" and going and getting drunk off whiskey. The idea is to get a point across, to accomplish something. The style is only the medium. What is important is what was accomplished. The fans tend towards stupid fat cat girls and boys, but still.

As for me? 99% of it is royal princely shit. There are however a few that are absolutely wonderful. Lain was mentioned. Bebop was. Champloo. Blood. FLCL is my personal favorite. But really. Whatever floats your boat. If you think American animation is somehow superior, I feel bad for you. There is nothing that has come from an american artists ALL suck. Except some comics. And even then. Older the better. To a point, of course.

Then again, as far as I'm concerned, pretty much 99% of everything sucks because you assholes developed a fucktastic world and I don't like it. But whatever. I'll pay my taxes on a job I don't have until I die from a high speed collision with a wall I aimed at. But damn it. Before I die, I just want to say Susan, I love you. Marry me?
