Whoop-de-fucking-doo, the game requires Vertex Shader 3.0 Support or some shit. That's why it won't play right - I can't even see the mouse cursor! Otherwise my rig fills the requirements with ease, but my graphics card just happens to be too old (note: not underpowered) that it only suppors 2.0.

There goes my Bioshlock down the drain.

There have been some fans who released some patch that allows you to play the game in shader 2.0 but last I heard it had some small glitches in it. You might want to give it a shot to see if it's any good.

Hey, thanks, didn't find that out when searching for a solution. I'll try it out and see if it works.

EDIT: found a website ( http://shadershock.tk ) and from there a link that took me to the mod/hack download site => http://www.gamedev.no/projects/BioShock ... 2Hack.html This modification is for Radeon X800-series, but there are plenty of others at shadershock.tk.

What's your rig, Kashluk?

I might try that game out if there's a decent hack for a Geforce fx5900.
