You and the right to defend your property.
The universal arming thing is a stupid idea. It's been done before in the balkans and it degenerated into warlords taking over. Only the way they did it is the civilians all purchased their own weapons and actually some guy in albania I believe it was, robbed a bank with a tank he legally purchased.
The idea being everyone fought off a universal foe which might've worked if there was an actual war. Afterwards it degraded into civil conflicts and eventually economic collapse. How do you disarm the civilians after the cohesive factor that kept them from shooting themselves was no longer present? Don't kid yourself. Human beings are fucking stupid creatures. I don't like seeing any more of them with guns than I have to.

I have only read the first several posts but wanted to comment on it.
I think a .45 hyro shock should be just about enough force to take care of an intruder, although a shot will work fine too.
Seriously, If someone is in my home then I will shoot them if my families life is in danger. The fact they have forcefully entered my home is proof they have ill intentions. Don't get me wrong, I don't thinks it's good to just shoot on site or anything but if I have my gun trained on them and they try to rush me weather or not they have a weapon or just their fists I would shoot them. If I point my gun at someone and they are scared and run out the door/window then I don't think it would be good to shoot them maybe knock them out or something but definatly not kill them, if they make a agresive move torwards you then that is different.
I think the guy in NY that they are trying to charge bigest problem is that the gun had not yet been licensed, in that state all guns must be licensed.
What a sad day when you have to fear protecting yourself in your own home.
And to all of you anti-gun nuts out there, if you live in the US then shut the fuck up, its our right to own and/or carry a gun. If you live in another country then I can say nothing but I feel sorry for your situation.

LOL, thank you I haven't laughed like that in a while. Most of the countries with super strict gun laws are either crime ridden or communist countries that practice genocide. Hmm, I wonder why. Of course the US has high crime in some places, and guess what those places are mostly in cities with very strict weapon laws. *shock*horror*Kashluk wrote:You feel sorry for even those that live in countries, where you don't need a gun to protect yourself?

Hitler was socialist, kind of like Communism Lite, or Communism One, or something like that in a way to make fun of popular soft drinks.
George Bush lowered taxes so the Jews could kill Michael Moore.

Once again, because this has become a one-dided argumentm, I am forced to play the devil's advocate. Yeah Devil!
Hmmm... Because everybody knows that unless you carry an Assault Rifle or SMG in canada you will be mowed down by some gangsta from a car window... with an M2!
Perhaps the reason crime increases in cities w/ gun control is not because of strict GC(gun control) but for another reason: coincidince. If a city sees a substantial increase in gun crime, what is the logical response? More police? too expensive. Lessen gun control? Makes no logical sense. Increase gun control? Yes, it's cheap, easy, and would atleast hinder the increase in Gun crime. However, because GC will not completely stop Gun crime, or stop it from accelerating it's rate of increase, the crime continues to rise. This would explain why crime continues to increase especially in areas with strict gun control.

KillaKilla's logic:
FOT and FO: BOS weren't FO at all!........... 1. I am nobody
DOGMEAT is God. Never dispute this!........ 2. Nobody is perfect
Up and coming hardware nerd.................. 3. Hence I am perfect

I really don't care what you anti-gun fools have to say.
It's my natural right to defend myself and I will obtain weapons no matter what legislation is passed to prevent it.
I want to be ready when the shit decides to hit the fan. I believe it will at some point in my lifetime and I want to be prepared. I'm a survivalist, I own a lot of survival supplies just in case things decide to go crazy.
Laugh at me all you want, but it will happen someday.
Random shit does happen, you know. To deny that is showing how truly blind you are in entrusting your life to the State, an organization that considers you expendable.
