So I played Greed Corp in the meantime; singleplayer goes very repetitive quite soon but I suppose it's got good potential for multi. Yay?

What's the verdict on
Total War : Shogun : 2 ? My interest in the series waned with the discovery of how disappointing
Empire was. TIA.

I say wait, I've got a friend who said when upon completing the game with one faction you've beat it with every faction. No diversity of anything, a total war game worth a single playthrough isn't worth anything.

I played the demo but I didn't really like it, I think I'll skip on this one and just fire up 'Empire' when a Total War craze occurs (if ever).

Personally I'm waiting for Rome 2.

Well I finally said "fuck it" and downloaded 'Risen'. I like it a lot, good roleplayability for a 3d over the shoulder rpg (which I may even prefer over iso omg BLASPHEMY). I hear it turns into a dungeon crawl later but that's just an incentive to get your character beefy beforehand exploring and killing n shit.
I like it how our government encourages piracy by banning games lol the idiots.

In Australia
Actually I'm playing Arcania right now, it's more fun than Risen.
Simply because of this: I worked long and hard to forge my very own 2-handed sword in Risen, gaining my strength doing quests. I run out to fight these little spikerats to shed malice and because combat is so fucking clunky and idiotic I still get nailed if there's a group of them.
Also, Risen's world is just too damned small so you never really feel like you're adventuring, just roaming a polygon clusterfuck.
Arcania's combat is far more versatile and rewarding, put on the highest difficulty of course

Currently playing ME2 and revisiting memory lane with MI2 SE. I'm just disappointed that I can pretty much remember every puzzle and solution...

Shogun is good, same as others 3 hours in you done it all and it starts to feel the same.
Playing King arthur the role playing wargame ( gay name )
Total war with magic way limited maps but still good for $3.00.
Love steam sales.

Bought the latest Humble Indie Bundle which had games like Shadowgrounds and Trine in it. Beat Shadowgrounds, it was pretty fun, Trine got kind of boring fast, and I'm starting on the second Shadowgrounds game. Payed five bucks for it, I'd say its worth as much, but don't be afraid to pay more since its for charity.

Arcania.
Linear, no camps to choose from ala previous Gothics, but still it's just too damned fun if you put on the hardest difficulty for some reason.

Red Dead Redemption
So far I've done a lot of bounty hunter work, got a bounty on my head, and picked flowers.

There's some fun stuff to do in Red Dead Redemption, involving both ropes and women, plus either railroads or wild beasts and bait.

I'll have free time next week for sure, right now I've got some papers due for some classes.
