Duck and Cover

(OOC: Yep, that was really cool. I really like both the MGS games.)

"WTH is everyone?"

*turns off "Julio Iglesias and Dolly Parton Sing N'Sync's Greatest Hits" playing on the Arena public address system*

"That should help."

*Takes the rocks out of his ears

"Ah, that's better..."

"Damn, that music sucked."

"What are you talking about? I liked it."

"color=black]BD, shut up.[/color]"

*A shadow flits across the arena, and Vousdew is suddenly knocked out of the way of the bone shards, and he watches as they imbed in the wall behind where he was standing...Haplo is standing in the center of the arena, cape flowing behind him, naked steel in hand...

Enough Talk...I will fight...EVERYONE!

"You never learn do you Haplo?"

*Reaper gets to his feet and approaches him.

"Forget challenging everyone, hardly anyone has the will to fight, let's go, you and me, one-on-one."

*Reaper readies the runesword.

"I don't see why I need to learn, everyone here is so...weak. But those that do not possess the will to fight should leave now."

Haplo's sword glows red in it's fury as Haplo jumps skyward, to gain air superiority...

"Just try to beat me Reaper..."

(OOC: Where is everyone? I stop posting as much and the arena comes to a halt?!?)

(OOC: No idea where they are. Maybe they've all found KC to be better. )

"You never could beat me, then again, I never could beat you."

*Reaper fires a ball of fire at the airborn Haplo then jumps backwards to avoid the incoming strike.

(OOC: Hopefully...we have gained some new members while I was busy... )

Haplo slices the fireball in half with his sword, and it erupts violently around him...he drops through the conflageration, touches the floor, and explodes with blinding speed towards Reaper, firing his own blasts with his empty left hand...

*Reaper is unable to react quikly and the energy bolts hit him across the room and he slams into the wall of the arena. He falls to the ground and gets up, leaving a huge dent in the wall where he hit it.

"Son of a bitch!"

*Reaper ran at Haplo and leapt up, he tried to bring his sword down on Haplo.

*Reaper smiles evilly as the bullets head for him.

"You should know by now that won't work."

*Time slows down for Reaper and he begins deflecting the bullets coming at him easily. Something is different this time. One the bullets gets past the sword and hits Reaper's shoulder. It is only a glancing blow but Reaper looks slightly shocked and intruiged.

"Well, that I wasn't expecting. You've improved since we last fought."

(OOC: Been a few days since I've been in here...and no change, that's sorry.)

Ha! Don't I always?

Haplo get's up and brushes the dirt off of his cloak. Spinning his glocks, he holsters them and looks at Reaper...

Your time tricks and illusions just won't work against me Reaper...

Redrawing his sword, it erupts in brilliant fire again, lighting the arena in it's blaze...unspoken power glitters in Haplo's eyes as the light reflects in them...

(OOC: I know, this place has really slowed down, I really prefer our Adventures forum, no lmitations )

"I know they don't work, otherwise I would have used them a lot more."

*Reaper swings his sword while still far from Haplo, a shockwave is sent out and heads to Haplo at high speeds.

Hi ! may I enter the figths ? any chalenger ?

OOC: Sure, what the hell. I could use the practice.

*Gizmo walks up to Davide and bows. "Shall we duel?"

" Why not ? What kind of duel Chalenger ? "

"Normal weapons. Swords, bows, yadda yadda yadda. I, of course, will be using my ninja-to. No runes. And you?"

Melle weapons . fine . My samurai sword a spear and shovel

"Very well." Gizmo bows, draws his ninja-to, and prepares to fight...
