It's amusing to see how threads evolve here on dac. Jumping to the last page despite the subject makes you feel like you're in the wasteland again.

Vanning out frustration from years of floppyness from your shaft, mister? Miss Antimeasure is getting impatient that you can't satisfy her? I'd understand that. Keep going, if you feel better.

Battle for Middle Earth II is kinda fun, but it really just seems like a Commander and Conquer: Generals clone, although the hero stuff is kinda cool, I guess.

I've come to the conclusion emulators suck and you better leave those old games as pretty memories from the past instead of replaying them and realizing how horrible they are. Exceptions exist, but this was meant as a general rule of thumb.

Your conclusion is faulty.
Sensible soccer is still the best footie game evar made, I still play it on my amiga emulator.
And moonstone.
And the chaos engine.
but mostly sensible soccer. Todays sports games could learn a lot from sensible...
ohohohoh, and cannon fodder is just brilliant. Still.
dear vasikka, therefore I conclude that your inability to play them old games can be traced back to you having secret fantasies about oblivion.
traitor.
