Xbow, you should really lay off the personal insults, it just makes you look like an asshole. It's best to keep it civil and stick to facts rather than personal insults. Just because he disagrees doesn't mean you have to treat him like shit. That's another major problem in this country, people don't listen to other ideas, they assume that theirs is the absolute correct idea and the other guy is a retarded ape. I've got my own views but I listen to others before I add my opinion, and when I do I try and keep it civil.

sorry about the leg doc (really) I removed the direct attacks where I could but you see as a professional military guy that has seen his share of action i take my constitutional rights VERY seriously..so I over reacted my bust.....Have i ever seen gore? yes plenty of it.

on a side note nothing that I see posted as a personal attack pisses me off one little bit, i simply respond. But i will not respond to your little bitchlet comment because i flamed first and had it coming. I dig this board too much to flame another fallout fan.....so accept my apology..or don't its up to you.

I accept the apology, and appologise for the bitchlet thing. I can get pretty riled when people assume I'm just fluff. And sorry for parading my bum leg around like that...I only do it when I'm really angry, and not thinkinh...dredges up what memory I have of....nevermind.I genrally try to be a good guy, and keep myself in line, but I do lose it sometimes. I'm a liberal, and I see thing differently than you. I can live with that. I do love this country, and it's history. And ona funny side not, I am an amatuer gun historian, love the things, will never own one, but I don't discount them merely as machines of death. they can be tools...and they can also be art. I just grew up partially in Alabama...and remeber some skinhead marching through town square with big guns...scared the hell out of me back then.Bush or Kerry, the people of America won't change, and that's what's important. I have issues with the current President, but it's no reason to rant at you.

No problem bubba the great thing about this country is that we can have a disagreement and settel it without gunfire axes or shanks. Yes the second ammendment is a critical issue to me and its a red flag that just zaps me.

The truth is that Its all about balance without the left to neutralize the right we have a dictaorship and with out the right to neutralize the left we have a socialist state.

Don't worry about the leg thing I didn't take it as whining I have some nasty memories of a knee injury I got when I got bounced off my hog (M1A1) while doing thirty miles an hour across the desert. shit sometimes I wake up and freak out for a second when I have a dream about it and what it felt like to have my knee bent backwards (total rebuild) i am suprised they let me stay in and stay in tanks ( fully functional for now at least).

Skinheads are cowards.. a detective buddy of mine says those boys sing like chickens and tell them all about their buddies and where their guns are when they get them back to the station and put a little heat on them. You have to figure that anyone that puts a twisted cross on their bodies and worships a perverted little bitchlet of a corporal must be pretty fucked up.

Here is a piece of gun legislation i would vote for..a MANDATORY death penalty for anyone no matter what the clowns age if he she it USES (fires) a gun, stabs, bludgeons, in the commission of a robbery, rape, or other hienous crime with the stipulation being that they had to do physical harm, to a victim...that act proves the vicious and cowardly nature of the offender. One drop of blood from the victim = a hot shot we dont need those kind of people in this country and we dont need to keep them in prison at the cost of 50,000 bucks a year.

Edit: I also liked how you ignored the other point of "40,000 people were killed in car accidents." Surely if you suggest 11,000 people dying is enough reason to warrant banning firearms, then its only logical you should support banning personally owned transportation such as cars, trucks, jeeps, etc.

Edit 2: Or you know, you could just listen to what Airsoft guy said while I was editting this.

Still, more people are killed with cars and we don't need those, what with public transportations. If we don't need guns because the police will protect us then we don't need cars because the city has buses. Banning cars would cut down on deaths, pollution and fuel consumption.

On the subject of firearms limitations, don't hold your hopes up for Georgie boy, because he's just as anti-gun as the more liberal option. Until a president refuses to continue the assault weapon ban, they're no better at being "pro-weapons" than anyone else.
