I want to just buy the website and then have a crew of some hard ass gangsters run it. Without my reading the whole forum, are we trying to resurrect the website? Where do I donate?

Wasteland 3 is pretty good so maybe make it a Fallout/ Wasteland website.

I think it's already done. Cashwise.tho' we do need more regular posters.

But you'd have to change your alias, I always confuse pooperscoooby with Gimp mask, it's essentially the same name.

Have an admin change it to Poopy-Doo and you should be fine. Welcome back mang :chew:

I don't know if that's the plan, but that's definitely my plan.

The money is going towards keeping the site functional, resurrection is up to the members I guess. If everyone thinks the place is dead and no one posts, then that is the case. But I have a good feeling about this, to quote Han Solo.

There should be a paypal donate button in the upper right corner of the forums, or somewhere on the front page.

I guess it could be made into anything we want to, the possibilities are limitless.

FYI, the migration to new forum software is currently scheduled for next week. I'll post more details in due time.

Thanks to POOPERSCOOPER's $100 donation we're now at $1065! Actually, Paypal takes a 6% cut so we're right at around 1k. I'll be setting up a separate ad-free user group for those who have supported the site with a donation once the new forums are set up.

Actually, the plan is to have a test import done by the end of the week now. I can look things over then and when everything's good, we do the final switch.

Also, good news about the domain. It took nearly two months, dozens of e-mails negotiating with a dead registrar and the CX domain authority and jumping through a ridiculous number of hoops, but I managed to extract the domain from the dead registrar and move it to a new, stable one.

How's the domain thing going to work, will lost souls be able to find their way back to DACK?

Nothing changes for the people visiting the site as far as the domain is concerned.
