Snowpiercer, a worthy attempt at post apocolyptia. As usual I really couldn't tell the ethnicity of the Asian language spoken, and as usual I thought it was Chinese first, then Japanese and finally googled it. The movie never explained how they are communicating with the toxic waste junkie, but then again they didn't really explain how the main character makes his exit at the end. You know what, just try suspension of disbelief as you watch it. Good twist in the end for Ed Harris' "man behind the curtain" role though, and fast paced enough to draw your attention away from the seemingly purposeful plot holes.
Korean, interesting, I've been seeing some sweet and very relevant selections from the ROK as of late ( try A Company Man for instance).

Reminds me of Transarctica, another retro game on my to-do list.jimmypneumatic wrote:Snowpiercer, a worthy attempt at post apocolyptia. Been watching Vikings, which is pretty cool. Not too HBO-esque.
And Twin Peaks. Can't. Stop. Watching. Twin. Peaks.

Is that like Hotline Miami Vice Punk Buster edition kinda jazz kinda retro, fusion, mixing up new nostalgia for old glue, mixing it, shipping it, whacking it, remixing it, old hammers, nes cartridges, 80s reminiscence, that kinda thing, yeah? Yeah absolutely I'm into that you should check out the following bands their on myspace I think;
Black Metal Widow
Power Bork
Night Force
Steel Engine Wheel
Queen Vampire
Lucas Von Drill
Master System
Dat Mamon
Mutant Boss Monster
Radioactive Charles & The Hipsters
Venomade
Liquid Cloud Rogers
I also checked out the movie Bird Man it wasn't about the cartoon of Bird Man but instead Bat Man, the 1984 Tim Burton version. In this sequel Bat Man puts on a stage play of the film L.A. Confidential. You may be familiar with the film Irreversible, this movie is the same but forwards. The actual Bird Man of the film appears as a ghost that you can't see but talks to the audience and Bat Man, which makes him mad. He throws a chair out of a window and the chair is made of gold.
