Weapons for FO, wadda ya want?

Since Bethesda decided to make Fallout 3, we figured we might as well have a forum about it.

No tommyguns in Fallout 1. I loved owning the Mauser though. Did you know that the mauser appears in ALL Mad Max movies?
I 'finished' 'bosses' with a shot in the groin. From my good old Mauser pistol.

Edit:

I want this in Fallout 3. The Punt Gun.

you could kill someone by letting him shoot that thing. The recoil would do it. Wouldn't that be a truly Fallout way of killing?
BTW IIRC you could substitute Salvatore's oxygen with some posioneous stuff.
And the guy in NCR had a bad heart and you could couse him to have a heart attack (some pills swapped or taken away or something) :?

Has there been any discussion of traps? I wouldn't mind being able to set fairly complex traps involving ropes and spikes and bombs and chickens and...

It would have to be atomic-powered. And you know what that means.

I personally think it should work like in the first two, but with minor tweaks. When you start out, you'll be lucky to have a shiv. Kill some raiders, and you might find stuff like zip guns or pipe rifles, as well as leather armor. Same with people in the smaller towns (i.e. Shady Sands). When you get to places like New Reno, you start finding SMGs and more powerful handguns, as well as better armor. Maybe the occasional assault rifle if you're lucky. Get into the BoS, and it's equipment heaven.

i want fallout 3 can have shield.. swat used shield too right?
dual wield featuress with more combos and animation than one handed or two handed weapon (sword or gun).. weapon mix from medieval times into futures weapon.. weapon can mix each other for example: sniper if we found scope we can combine them (that was nice in other weapon too).. block ability with farious animation (actualy dodge and feint farious move depend where we got hit, on foot, on head, or whatever)...
