airsoft - If I remember correctly, one could punch the leader of the group a few times, which could cause him to follow you (or sometimes instigate a brawl between the followers). Simple matter then of darting onto the tracks and off again, as they would continue on their path across the tracks. AI exploit perhaps ? Easy nonetheless.

Frankly, the Elvis impersonators were much trickier in my experience. :drunk:

I think if you sort of ran through them punching they'd follow/chase you. And then you use the flamethrower for more points.

The original ended up being buggy after a while as no pedestrians or cars would spawn.

Pedestrians and vehicles would only stop spawning in my copy once I began vicious, hard-core campaigns against emergency vehicles. I always assumed I destroyed all the ambulances, which made it so no one could be brought back to life. Reason I made that assumption was that the police would still keep coming for awhile.

Oh yeah, you could punch them too, but if I recall correctly if you punched one of the followers he would freak out and run away.

One time I was at Clownpiss' house and I had been playing GTA for like three hours straight, hadn't gotten killed or arrested because I'd been popping in cheats just trying to see how many people I could kill. Eventually it started getting really buggy, there was like a floating police car just sitting up above this building. Out of nowhere a phantom cop car would drive through a building. Cars would be driving around under the water. It was kind of cool, ghosts of all the officers I done murdered.

So the row of police faces on top of the screen, the FBI, the military and the insane difficulty towards the end of your killing frenzy were originally created to keep the game from going nuts?

That's the same thing that happened to me. Perhaps they aren't offering the games anymore? It could've been a one time promotional event or something. idk.

They're probably just getting too many hits. Didn't the site say something about how they had to limit the numer of concurrent downloads or something?
