The biggest problem with japanese RPGs is that they are made by japanese. Yellow shorties can't do anything right.

That said, as long as Susan isn't babbling about FFX and FFX-2 I give him my blessing and wish a safe trip.

Chrono Trigger was pretty good? Secret of Mana? Vagrant Story?

But I never managed to like FF. Although that card game in FF8 was pretty addictive.

I have FFX and still haven't beaten it, it's boring, and I never tried FFX-2. FF9 was pretty good though, FFT was awesome.

Saga Frontier 2 was also awesome.

Just like the other guy I talked with yesterday, asked me what RTS is. I told him "Starcraft, Dune 2, Red Alert" and he was "WTF". Then I pointed him to Wiki's RTS article and he shouted "Oooh! Age Of Empires is awesome!"
