I've never read that it was taken to Avalon, but hey, like you said, there's certainly more than one version of the story out there. However, if I remember correctly, the first account of the quest was written by Malory in Le Morte D'Arthur, and that's how it goes down. In T.H. White's version, as well. In fact, in every version I've ever read. Not that I'm trying to appear pretentious. Interesting take, though.

The fact remains that your counter was correct, and yes, the Grail was eventually found, although only three out of the one hundred and fifty managed to do it, and more than half of the total died in the attempt.

PS King Crimson kicks the hell out of Stephen King or whoever.
It's been a long time since I've read the legends, like since I went through puberty but I vaguely remember one version having the grail taken to Avalon for safe keeping either after Arthur's death or with the body of one of the knights who found it.

Who's King Crimson?

I'm sorry, but this would imply that ELP were in some small way related to the concept of "good music", which as we all know has been scientifically proven to be impossible.

In other words, you're all banned for liking shitty music.

I stand corrected.

I don't want to step on anyone's toes by starting an argument over what band is better, considering some folks are still discussing the merits of the book in question. However, it's quite clear that both ELP and King Crimson kick ass, while Garbage blows.

I heartily concur! I move that Subhuman lives in permanent opposite world.

Maybe we have Bizarro Subhuman and the real one is elsewhere?

THE BLIND MAN CLAIMS HE SEES BETTER THAN THE SHORTSIGHTED ONES. Are you actively trying to stir up flames?

This thread isn't about King Crimson at all though.

Someone needs to be Disciplend, or Indisciplend. Or whatever.

Reading on jet is the coolest!!

P.S. I wasn't actually refering to a book but real history, Joseph of Arima sumthin found it and hid it at some church in scottland, so it was written.

I think you really need to learn to differentiate between fiction and the real world.

I second that motion, as well as Spazmo's. Move to close.
