Have to recomend: Ghost in the shell 2. Blood the last vampire was nice too.

Ghost in the Shell was a turd wrapped in shiny foil. I can't stand anime's approach to storytelling. I can't stand the archetypes and their painfully exaggerated reactions (no, a 40 year old war veteran does not behave like some dumb kid who isn't even old enough to buy cigarettes) to gloriously epic events (or overly glorified mundane things).

Is Stand-Alone complex any good?

It's ok, but more than a little overrated. Anyway, if you liked Cowboy Bebop, you'll like Samurai Champloo... it's similar in style, but instead of the cyber-jazz punk atmosphere, it's set in Japan in like the 1800's and involves samurais. By all the same people who made Bebop.

Most of anime and manga is totally moronic.

Really, Japanese usually take some stuff and make it worse. It's a gift or something. Their comics? Worse. TV shows? Worse. Games? Worse.
It's because stuff they make is so fucking infantile and repetitive. AND on bandwagon. There is literally hundreds of animes out there which only differs by main guy's name and maybe order in which he dids chicks*.

But what's worse is the fanbase. I spent some time on one channel, 'twas #mangaproject, because IRC is best for downloading stuff. Well, how did it end... some of you know of my IRC script slapping anyone who uses "^_^" or "^^". It's still alive, yeees.

Of course, there are few mangas that are good. Geniuses appear even in shitting contests, as they say. Akira, YKK, Battle Royale, 20th Century Boys.
Few. But good. Overally though, physically speaking, it's within the calculation's error range, so I can say that M/A sucks balls.

* - By "did" we understand of course "kiss", because there are only two kinds of behavior in M/A: Either everyone fuck each other in every hole possible all the time(The Hentai), or girls lose counciousness even thinking about a guy(The Rest).

obviously i love anime but i think most of you have already noticed it. obviously my favourite anime is gundam especially gundam wing, i also like dragon ball z , helsing and cowboy bepop and so on, are pretty good too. shit like pokemon is for little kids and faggets. ffs i mean kids throwing balls and fighting each others monsters? thats more like gaynime.

Since I read your post, gundam2000, I see the problem from a whole new point of view : anime sucks.
