Talk about music, movies, TV, books, other types of entertainment and what your vices are. Also, if you're addicted to the high you get off Aspirin, this is the place to talk about it.
I read a book published in the eighties about these events called Vengeance, and from what I can tell from the trailers, the characters and events of the movie are taken right out of it, since, as far as I know, it's the only record of the actions of the hit team dispatched by the Mossad following the Olympic massacre.
Point being, the book was good, not sure how the movie's going to turn out.
Hey mang, it's the only one that I know of. However, I'm under the impression that all records of the event do come from it, because it was written based on interviews with the man who lead the team. I highly doubt the Israeli government released any kind of... anything... about it. The other team members never released their stories because with the exception of one other guy, they all died. Whoops. Spoiler.
I saw the movie last night. Its alright, a bit too long and slow in parts. I think it could of been a lot better but it went more in the Drama route and not the action/drama. I might have not gotten it because I wasn't Jewish. There was a tons of jews at the theatre.
Munich was pretty good, but it could have been a lot better if they cut it down by an hour. 3 hours was a bit much. Also, they should have cut the pregnant sex scene. Pregnancy is wrong and creepy.
