You forgot the "having sex with a meat grinder" part.Kashluk wrote:The stuff in hamburgers, yes. Minced meat.

Is the concept clear enough by now?
The Food Thread
Ah, I can't bring myself to think like that. It's just not fun enough. I really really like to cook good meals, and I really enjoy good food. Thus I like to use fancier stuff, I guess. I buy the real Helmann's mayonnaise, not Kraft's shitty salad sauce Of course I'm not spending hundred of dollars on a single meal in a restaurant, but the price isn't really a criteria when I choose what I'm gonna eat. Though like I said there are some limits.Kashluk wrote:I always think of things cost-efficiently, blame my business school education or whatever you like. I do not value MEGA ICE CREAM or any other delecacy, because I know I will be puking it out if I had to eat it every day. I also like pizza, nicely baked ham and many many other types of foods, but minced meat is the kind I could eat every day of my life with a big fat smile on my face.
I'm weird, I know that. I also like to fuck with you, so don't take my shit too seriously, mang. No one does.
I still enjoy a hundred dollars supper in a fancy restaurant once in a year

That picture looks like you could just put it between hamburger buns.Kashluk wrote:fried minced meat:
meat cut in very very small pieces, through a meat grinder and stuff, usually spices and greese added on top of it as well, no bone - just meat
Sloppy Joes!
I prefer to make the buns into garlic toast (not too crispy) first.
Then add mushrooms and sliced olives and peppers.
Not bad.
My favorite is "Dinner Salads": Just everything in a salad, with
marinaded meat strips added. And garlic croutons.
Ramen with Spam for breakfast.
Fruit Soup for lunch. Sort of like fruit coctail, except eaten like
a bowl of cereal with orange juice instead of milk.
(Or milk and OJ with a drop of vanilla extract.)
mmmmmm....
I'm sort of a good cook. I'm good at following recipes, anyway (most notably with weed brownies -- but no matter, I can make pretty good non-inebriating stuff as well).

suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Well, I've learnt to cook food either by following a recipe or from a person, but after the first time you can do it yourself and make some improvements.
Those some jewish foods?[HpA]SniperPotato wrote:I can cook a mean pot of ramen. Also the word on the streets is that I can make a good bowl of kisiel too.
How could you feel at all awful when you've experienced the rare buzz of directly contributing to the obliteration of an endangered species ?Kashluk wrote:some nearly extinct fish [. . .] you'll only feel bad for spending that much money and the hunger still stays.
The mind boggles.

did you just use a Polish word or is this also in English? Anyhow making kisiel (I'm using the Polish word) is not really complicated.[HpA]SniperPotato wrote: kisiel
I just adore beef loin or veal loin, quickly fried on olive oil, still juicy - almost bloddy (or a little bloody indeed) And yea I can make it myself.
I'm fucking crazy about a few Polish soups you guys unfortunatelly wouldn't know
I also really like Italian and Mexican foods, although I don't really know many dishes from either.
I totally detest the abominable ersatz that goes by the name of "sausage" and looks like pinky foamy/rubbery artificial cylinders.
To my disgust, I bought a couple of these next to the stairs of the Metrop. Museum of Art (each in a bun - also made of foam) and they were called (!) "Polish sausage" for fuck's sake (FYI, Polish sausage should look more or less like this and not like this -theu have separate names)
Kind off. The thing is that I really love to cook.atoga wrote:Susan says he's a really good cook.
Also, I can't follow recipes. I have to change them, always. Of course I'll keep the basic elements(like corn stash in a cake) but I just can't help it, I always change the amount of spices and pretty much everything else in sauces and chit.
Also, I like improvisation; I take a look at what's in the fridge and create a recipe.
