Is it just me, or does Metal Gear Solid 2 really blow?

ironically I just played through MGS2 couple weeks ago and it was a little better than I remebered. If you cut out all the cutscenes and stuff the game is not very long. MGS3 is better even though I can't get myself to replay it through substance, probably too soon it's been only a year since I played the regular one.

I liked the good old days when I could dial up a modem and play 1 v 1 with the person (Warcraft 2 and Diablo)

THe first GTA, yeah sure. I used to play it with friends on LAN and it was pretty fun.

How about some accessable oldies? Like the build games ( Duke, Sw, Blood etc ) or even the Doom's // Quakes? 12 man game on the Civ? The Settlers ( Not sure if S2 works these days )? The gta's with official mp support do this lag thing, so that's pretty out I think. We could riddle through bugs in Arcanum together, or snatch each other's dialogue options in Icewind Dale 1/2. How about that new fad with free, multiplayer only games? Hell, I wouldn't even exclude tactics, evendoh that'd mean finding cd's and getting eaten alive. Keep suggestions rolling, in the end something will stand out.
