WHen it came out my computer wasn't fast enough to play it. Once I got one that was, hardware had moved on and left its decaying engine behind.

...I tried to play it but it was too crashy on modern systems. Methinks it was that way on premodern systems too...

Personally, I think a Fallout game would not be good without children. This doesn't also make good, and it also makes game realistic. A childrenless world like Oblivion inevitably sucks.

Fallout needs children which you can tell the difference from each oher from just looking at them, not just those generic tomboy/tomgirl kids we got in Fallout 1 and 2 that run around and say things like "weeeeeeee!" and all look exactly like each other (maybe they had Vats that created the second master race, Children, that looked exactly like each other... who knows >_>)

Fallout also needs more variety.... in human bodies.... I feel like I'm killing the same "You see: Villager" in Shady Sands and Arroyo...

I hope I can see this in Fallout 3.

Children were important to the Fallout games. REASONING:

1) They stole shit from you in the Den in Fallout 2 (which was very irritating, if not interesting.)
2) You lost a lot of Karma if you killed one or more (which was critical to the world within Fallout)
3) When you got bored and needed something to do, they were there for the killing

in conclusion: Fuck Bethesda and fuck Fallout 3

STFU Fallout's children were great. The contrast between their (and the enivronment's) look and the floaters they said, like "weee!" was actually their best aspect and added a lot to the atmosphere of the game. So, STFU.
