Trailer looks okay, but it looks like a totally different movie than the first one.

It's funny how now that the first movie has been succesful, they hired a bunch of names, stuffed the movie full of CGI, and obviously the story will be shit.

What might save it is it's british, and it has Robert Carlyle.

Ach, no Danny Bowels (he's a producer, though). Instead, they put some mexican one-hit wonder.

I'm with the emoticon dude. Kids are a bad sign. Hope there aren't any monkeys as well. Kids + monkeys = doom.

I can't wait until the World War Z movie adaptation comes out. I'm reading the book right now and it's fucking awesome.
28 Days/Weeks aren't zombie movies, the infected are still alive but under the effects of a virus. That's why the original was called 28 days, because supposedly it takes that long to die without food.

I'm also looking forward to World War Z. I haven't read the book yet but have been meaning to pick it up. I've heard it's a great read.

I suppose the assumption is that the infected are able to drink fluids if they find them, but aren't of right mind to look for food. On the other hand maybe it was just that "3 Days Later" wouldn't have been as appealing as a film title.

I always thought it was called 28days because he woke up in the hospital 28days after the initial release of the virus or summit.

I thought the same. I knew they starve after a while, but I must have missed the part where they explain how long it takes.
That might be due to my habit of innitiating heavy drug abuse while watching movies.

Anyway, I thought that it took 3 weeks for one to die without food...
3 weeks without food.
3 days without water.
3 minutes withour air.

Very general, but a good idea.

When I first heard the title, I thought it was something to do with the female menstrual cycle.

No. Check those idiots who dive for 8 minutes or so and if there is some online guniess book resource, there MUST be a world record in 'not breathing'.

I read acoustic, and was rather happy thinking about playing him until I realized my error. He sounded somewhat like this.
