Warhammers universe got more franchise fucked up than Fallouts.

I only like 40k canon, so that's now why I'm going to play it.

i always thought Warhammer has those tanks, vehicles and other stuff.. as far as i know you wont be able to drive or produce them or something, which wouldnt work gameplay-wise or too much for the develops to handle. and also it looks like there are generally less guns, more like melee based plus i dont like the graphics very much. reminds me too much on WoW, imo. I hope at least there will be blood.

Yeah..I'd ignore it as I do most fantasy type shit. I prefer my games to be modern/future/cyberpunkesque (think, Blade Runner, Deus Ex, and so on), etc..I just can't fuckin handle all the ye thou thither hence old english shit. If I'm gunna pay for somethin, it ain't gunna be to slay dragons and shit, it's going to be a game that I can fuck up anything from people, to buildings, to governments.

That kind of power would never work in an MMO though, which is why I stay away from them. Save for a brief beta on the Matrix Online (which had some unique ways of doing things, too bad the ideas were fucked over).

Ok that's my fuckin rant for the day, and if they do one for WH40K, then I might consider lookin at it.

A WH40K MMORPG would only work if your character had a 1 in 5 chance of ending up dead the first second you logged on because THE UNIVERSE IS MURDERING ITSELF.

I'm looking forward to Warhammer Online, the graphics are a big step up from Warcraft, the races are a lot more interesting (I love blind zealism in all its myriad forms), and the dwarfs aren't a bunch of cock gobbling swell guy WANDERING THE MYSTEEEEERIOUS AZEROTH or whatever.

WH40k MMORDGHDSJHHXVRPG would be awesome if somewould would create like 51354322879 planets and you could chose to be ork, tau, human (includes Chaos), tyranid (in this case maybe a genestealer), eldar or even a necron.

This is contrary to popular belief, not a good thing. All science fiction MMO's are destined to fail, by the simple fact that they are not FPS'.

I really hope they get as many races in as possible, with the excedption of dark elves, because in lore they just suck, and tyranid, because there's hardly any development in them =( But I would love to see an adaptation of it.

MMO = Massively Multiplayer Online. Doesn't automatically mean RPG. Might be FPS. or RTS, even.
