Screw that. If I had 2 katanas I would cut people's legs off and piss on them for fun.
---On Topic - NEVER watch Mr Nice Guy. It is probably one of his worst 3 EVER made.

Katanas are over-rated.

Don't forget The Tuxedo, Shanghai Knights, Rush Hour 2 and probably 3, and he also did some movie where he didn't ever fight. It was ridiculous. I sat through the whole thing thinking there would be an incredible fight scene eventually to make up for it and there never was... can't remember the name.

Iirc TaiChi from Jet Li has some bo staff scenes, esp. at the beginning where Li and his sidekick are kicking the asses of a whole class.
The chinese acting is horrible, though, Chinese seem to have that kind of unfunny (read: jewlike) humor.
Imo Fist of Legend is the best martial arts film, I like it even better than the Bruce Lee films :/

It's not just China, more like all of Asia.
Edit: The only reason Mr. Nice Guy is bad is because of the ending. You expect this big fight scene and get him driving a dump truck through the badguys house which pissed me off, because like 5 minutes earlier, he was getting the crap kicked out of him by the same guy and couldn't fight back. Someone botched that ending.

Ya, you're right, every country has movies with over the top acting.

Some of Jet Li's older movies had some good bo staff scenes. Check out "Once Upon a Time in China 2."
Basically, pretty much all of Jet Li's made in china movies are good(except Black Mask).
Same with Jackie Chan.
