Discworl Noir. Rocks - especially if you appreciate dialogues and and bitter-irony humour.

yes in the way that it has a good story and nice art. Also, it has iso view.
However, setting is different (steampunk-high fantasy - magic + technology sorta) and many say that combat is kinda retarded.

More like a spiritual sequel to Fallout 2. :bugginess:

Still, one of the most satisfying RPGs I've played.

Faces of War(SHOWW2 sequel) - most unique and original rts/rtt ever.
System Shock 2, unn-polaris fm.
Red Orchestra for realistic online action.
Tried cod4 demo - never played anything worser.
Steel Fury Kharkov 1942 demo2 is becoming an awesome tank sim.
Evochron Renegades demo is cool too, no more jumping from sector to sector, ship physics plays a role also.

About HLG, is it me, or does every game Exitium makes a site for end up sucking all kinds of ass?
I'm waiting for official confirmation of HLG shittiness when its released before I start telling everyone how Exitium failed once again.
It'll give him an opportunity to flip-flop like crazy if it bombs.

Anyways I just finished up Halo 3 on Legendary, which was short, and satisfying enough. Better than BioShock in almost every way, though nowhere near FPS goodness like System Shock 2, Deus Ex, XIII, or even Thief and Bloodlines if you consider those.

Speaking of Bloodlines, I'm interested in replaying it, and was wondering where I could quickly obtain a relatively cheap copy, preferably not digital download, but I can live with it, I suppose. Both eBay and Amazon always seem to fail me, and I'm not exactly sure where else to look.

Back to played games then, I've gotten into Guitar Hero 2 via some other people. It's like freaking crack. You just keep playing uncontrollably even though it really isn't *that* good.

Then there's my ongoing System Shock 2 replay, an occasional Fallout ironman run, and some other assorted goodies via emulation.

Which?

And have you tried the Tremere mod?
Tremere... mod? I tried checking for decent patches/mods/updated textures, but most just talk shit about the fan/true patches and nude models.

I meant Tzimisce.

I haven't tried out the mod myself.

I found this really cool game called "Oblivion" - I guess the people that made it are making a sequel to Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel - which I really loved on my home console video gaming machine - in "Oblivion" the world is just massive, I heard it's like 4 square miles or something like that...there is so much detail, people really eat and drink, you can pray at temples, YOU can eat, wow gosh it's just so amazing....I do seem to have found a lot of bugs in it, even though it's a couple years old now, but I've only had to completely restart my game once or twice, so it's not so bad. The guards will even chase you down from one end of the continent to the other, and if you resist arrest, even for accidentally opening a chest that wasn't yours, they'll kill you. It's just so realistic, but I found this amazing "cheat" where you can simply pay some thieves guild guy and he'll bribe the guards and stuff, even if you've killed a dozen people.
You guys should really try it if you haven't already. Anybody else played this amazing game yet?

edit - no really, Master of Magic (since I remembered it after reading an article they are making a sequel) and Nighty-Nine Nights - but I'm stuck at one part so it's kind of pissing me off.

the bitch who made the true patch closed her site because she felt she wasn't beeing fully apperciated and won't distribute the patch. If you need it I can prolly hook you up or you can just go with WESPs basic version.

Playing NFS: Most wanted, again.
Currently at nr. 4 suddenly remembered why I hated this part of the game. The ridiculous car chases where you have to kill/scratch/annoy x number of cops in ridiculously fast cars, oncomming 10 ton SUV's and spikestrips.

Finished NWN2, finally, and I must admit... I have never seen a worse ending in any game to date. *horrible*.

Hellgate demo, been playing it for 2 days, and in 8 hours straight when I was trying to get components and high quality items.

Guitar Hero II on the PS2.
Beat the game on medium, with 5 stars on all songs except one in the final category, "Institutionalized" by Suicidal Tendencies. Not only is it a terrible song, but it requires little skill and insanely fast button mashing in a rythm that requires more luck than anything else.

And the level of how horrible it is, is so enormous, to unfathomable that it deserves a rant.
If there was an award for the worst possible attempt at making music, and somehow still managing to get popular, this would take the cake. There is no amount of pop-music that would match this track.
Of course, the fact that I'm just frustrated that I got 95% and still didn't achieve 5 stars has nothing to do with it. Not at all.

Been playing warlords 2 at work, and enjoying a few other oldschool abandonware games.

God I hate that fucking song. Not only is the rhythm so annoying on Expert, but the guy's "singing" is on par with that of Danny Filth.

Fuck you. I've tried it and I can't say that I've ever played a better FPS shoot-'em-up, black hawk down style. That game is fucking intense. I mean, you have to admit - using the Javelin anti-tank missile was SOMETHING.

But the respawning enemies are still a major nuisance. If those were removed, I'd call CoD 4 da best meatgrinder this year.
